Jeff Bezos, per the latest issue of Forbes Magazine (Oct/Nov 2022 Page 104), is the world's second richest man at $151B and they give him a 2 heart rating out of 5 for philanthropy. They also added the comment:
Meanwhile,Bezos ordered a superyacht so big that shipmaker Oceanco had to request that a historic bridge in Rotterdam be dismantled in order for the vessel to leave. The yacht, which is on the verge of completion, was eventually towed away after intense backlash with the bridge still intact.
Isn't he wonderful?
He showed the Republicans how to make a grand victory entrance as he stood "tall" on his ship coming into port as it slowly sank.
Thomas Dewey could be considered the father of defeat but he didn't claim the victory but instead it was the Chicago Tribune's "Dewey Defeats Truman" and its claim that the Republicans swept the election and had taken control of both Houses of Congress. Instead, the Democrats did the taking.
He is known to have
Run off from his responsibilities
Run off at the mouth about abortion
Run off with his lies about his personal life
Where I am, the local school board candidates do not identify by party. For all the others, I went pure blue but the local paper had an article where they asked each of the candidates the same question regarding, I believe, local safety. Only two of the candidates gave them an answer. One woman's answer was meaningless 2-sentence gibberish but another's was excellently thought out and articulated. We decided the would be the only school board worth voting for and we did so. We had no idea which party she was in as it was non-partisan.
As we walked out of the polling station, I noticed the group of Republicans with signs and a woman had a sign for that school board candidate we voted for. I walked up to her and asked if the was the candidate and she replied she was. So I told her I thought her reply to the newspaper was excellent ans she was the only Republican for which I voted. She nicely thanked me for supporting her. I don't think anyone else heard our conversation.
when Russia goes after its next target.
Or do they want to Proclaim "Peace For Our Time"? Let the next generation do the fighting as long as we have plenty of cheap gas now and we can be friends with dictators as they are "Just Like Us".
your head instead of trying to emulate some who seem to be copying the Republicans by perpetuating misleading information.
DeJoy is worthless but not because he did anything terrible. The article's title is pure hype and nothing but Yellow Journalism.
The last thing we need is Republicans saying to Democrats: "See? Your no different than we are!"
I want to see a Democratic Party made up of intelligent, discerning individuals who stand out from the maniacs on the other side who spout lies, misinformation and hate.
Anyone can grow up to be an idiot.
You can have a PhD and still not have a brain to think with, proving our contention that our schools are not doing a good job teaching us critical thinking.
You can be born without a brain and still survive and prosper, proving science is wrong.
You can be a good Christian without ever reading and understanding the New Testament as long as you can quote the Old Testament.
Insects have protein as we are doing quite well feeding on maggots.
We are doing a great job showing that we can be an example of how to survive in a dictatorship.
get the MAGA smell out and reduce your chances of catching Maggot Fever - more dangerous and widespread than Covid!
Make sure you contact the gym staff so they call in a disinfection unit and file a form with the EPA to declare the gym a Toxic Waste Site.
