Tullahoma man training for the TN National Guard picked up on child porn charges

Police have arrested a former Middle Tennessee sheriff’s office employee on child pornography charges.

Former Coffee County Sheriff’s Office employee, 20-year-old Robert Reed, of Tullahoma, was arrested Friday in Coffee County on five warrants for possession with intent to promote child pornography, according to the sheriff’s office.

The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office out of Texas led the investigation.

Reed worked at the CCSO since July 5. He was reportedly not employed at the sheriff’s office at the time of the alleged incidents.

Students in Massachusetts will get free lunch and breakfast at school thanks to a new 4% tax put on people who earn more than $1 million.

Massachusetts voters passed a constitutional amendment that went into effect at the beginning of 2023 to put an additional 4% state income tax on people who make more than $1 million per year.

Appropriation of the proceeds from the tax is subject to the state legislature, but lawmakers are expected to use it for public education and infrastructure repairs,
