Former Donald Trump election fraud advocate Sydney Powell should expect a criminal indictment in the very near future because allies of the former president have been ratting her out to special counsel Jack Smith's investigators.
According to a report from Rolling Stone, the controversial lawyer has been thrown under the bus by Trump insiders for her part in a plot to steal the 2020 presidential election.
Former top Trump attorney Tim Parlatore admitted in an interview that longtime Rudy Giuliani associate Bernie Kerik pointed the finger at Powell while also questioning her sanity.

Two prominent conservative legal scholars determined that former President Donald Trump is ineligible to be president under a provision in the Constitution barring people who engaged in insurrection from office.
Professors William Baude of the University of Chicago and Michael Stokes Paulsen of the University of St. Thomas both members of the conservative Federalist Society studied the question for more than a year and detailed their findings in an article set to be published next year in the University of Pennsylvania Law Review, according to The New York Times.
"When we started out, neither of us was sure what the answer was," Baude told the outlet. "People were talking about this provision of the Constitution. We thought: 'We're constitutional scholars, and this is an important constitutional question. We ought to figure out what's really going on here.' And the more we dug into it, the more we realized that we had something to add."

A former Rock Co. deputy sheriff who faced 10 child sexual assault or abuse charges pleaded guilty to four of them, while the most severe ones were dismissed.
According to court records, Gary A. Huber pleaded guilty Thursday to two charges each of causing a teenage minor to view sexual activity and exposing intimate parts to a child.
The other six charges, which included first-degree sexual assault sexual contact with a person under 13 years old, were listed as dismissed, but read in. (Full list below)
Huber, 36, is due to return to a Rock Co. courtroom on Oct. 31 for sentencing. Following his conviction, Judge Derrick Grubb revoked the defendants bond, the records indicate.
In December 2021, the state Justice Dept. announced the slew of charges against Huber after his arrest in Fort Wayne, Indiana. It stated the crimes allegedly occurred over a seven-year stretch from 2010 to 2016.
In their statement, prosecutors noted he served as a deputy sheriff in Rock Co. from August 2016 through July 2021. The Justice Dept. added he stepped down that summer to avoid an internal investigation by the Sheriffs Office
