I wonder how long it will be, as this war becomes more drawn out & brutal, for the US to

become involved militarily. When we see civilians being slaughtered by fascists, a democracy destroyed in front of our eyes. We went to war with Iraq when they invaded Kuwait and Kuwait isn't a NATO country. I know politically oil is more precious than lives but what will it take? Do you think we will intervein, will NATO intervein? Will the threat of WWIII be enough for the West to stand by and let this happen? What are your thoughts?

Russian thermobaric "vacuum bombs" launcher seen by CNN team in Ukraine

A Russian thermobaric multiple rockets launcher has been spotted by CNN team south of Belgorod, Russia, near the Ukrainian border early Saturday afternoon.

The TOS-1 or TOS-1A Multiple Rocket Launcher seen by CNN is capable of launching rockets with thermobaric warheads.

There is no evidence that thermobaric weapons have been used in the conflict in Ukraine.

These types of weapons do not use conventional ammunition. Instead, they are filled with high-temperature, high-pressure explosive. They are sometimes called “vacuum bombs” because they suck in the oxygen from the surrounding air to generate a powerful explosion and a large pressure wave that can have enormous destructive effects.

Thermobaric weapons have been used in Chechnya, with horrifying consequences, according to Human Rights Watch. Their use has been condemned by number of non-governmental organizations.

These are made to literally crush people who are sheltering inside secured bunkers.

YouTube has suspended multiple Russian channels, including the state-funded media outlet RT, from

generating revenue on the video service, Reuters reported.

YouTube said in a statement that it was “pausing a number of channels’ ability to monetize on YouTube, including several Russian channels affiliated with recent sanctions”. It said the move was prompted by “extraordinary circumstances”.

Videos from the affected channels also will come up less often in recommendations, Farshad Shadloo, a spokesman for YouTube, said. He added that RT and several other channels would no longer be accessible in Ukraine due to “a government request.”

Kazakhstan is denying a request for its troops to join the Russian offensive, NBC has reported.

The former Soviet Republic state has also refused to join Putin’s recognition of Luhansk and Donetsk as independent states, his pretext for the hostility.

A significant and interesting move here, from one of Russia’s closest allies.

Ukraine has asked Apple's chief executive, Tim Cook, to cut Russia off from the App Store and Apple

products.

Mykhailo Federov, the country’s vice prime minister and the minister of digital transformation, has published the letter he sent on Friday, appealing for Cook to bolster the impact of government-level sanctions.

This should be demanded by the US gov, This should be what all US corporations should be doing right now, end all services to Russia. We cannot support a country that is trying to destroy its neighbor.

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskiy and Russian president Vladimir Putin are discussing a place

to hold talks, according to a spokesperson for Zelenskiy. just reported on the guardian. Well, we know pooty can't be trusted but what other options does Zelenskiy have? I think he has his people on his mind when reaching out to monster putin, they are now dealing with empty stores, loss of power, water, ect..., not just bombs and bullets.
