knowing now that these MI terrorist militia groups planned on carrying out an armed attack on the

capital building I wonder if the state police will allow them to run rampant inside the Capital again like they did in May?

So Biden suspended his anti-tRump ads when trump went to the hospital but listening to MSNBC

right now and nothing but lying anti Biden ads from the tRump campaign. I hope Biden reconsiders and starts his ads back up to counter tRumps lies.

So tRumps doctor team just made a statement, he's doing great, no more fever, but

its seems he was being treated many hours, which would be Wednesday morning according to the doctors, before we found out from tRump that he had tested positive. They kept it quiet, for hours while people were unknowingly contaminating each other. By the way, many do start feeling better but crash at the 7 to 10 day period according to tRumps team so the 7 to 10 day period will tell the story.

Michigan Supreme Court rules Whitmer didn't have authority to issue COVID-19 orders after April 30

Source: WXYZ

(AP) -- The Michigan Supreme Court on Friday struck down months of orders by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer that were aimed at preventing the spread of the coronavirus, saying she illegally drew authority from a 1945 law that doesn't apply.

The court said the law was an "unlawful delegation of legislative power to the executive branch in violation of the Michigan Constitution."

The decision is an extraordinary development in a monthslong tug-of-war between Whitmer, a Democrat, and the Republicans who control the Legislature who have complained that they've been shut out of major orders that have restricted education, the economy and health care.

Justices Stephen Markman, Brian Zahra, Elizabeth Clement ruled, with David Viviano concurring in part, that the governor didn't have the authority to issue a state of emergency after April 30, 2020 under the Emergency Management Act (EMA).

The justices also ruled that the Emergency Powers of the Governors Act, the 1945 law, is unconstitutional "because purports to delegate the executive branch the legislative power of state government - including its plenary police powers.

Chief Justice Bridget McCormack, Justice Richard Bernstein and Justice Megan Cavanagh agreed with the majority saying the governor didn't have the power to issue executive orders after April 30 under the EMA, but disagreed that the EPGA violated the state's constitution.

its an all repuke state court so shouldn't be a surprise.

Partial Statement by the Gov.

“Today’s Supreme Court ruling, handed down by a narrow majority of Republican justices, is deeply disappointing, and I vehemently disagree with the court’s interpretation of the Michigan Constitution. Right now, every state and the federal government have some form of declared emergency. With this decision, Michigan will become the sole outlier at a time when the Upper Peninsula is experiencing rates of COVID infection not seen in our state since April.

“It is important to note that this ruling does not take effect for at least 21 days, and until then, my emergency declaration and orders retain the force of law. Furthermore, after 21 days, many of the responsive measures I have put in place to control the spread of the virus will continue under alternative sources of authority that were not at issue in today’s ruling.

National Guard taps units for rapid response to civil unrest

Source: AP

WASHINGTON (AP) — The National Guard has designated military police units in two states to serve as rapid reaction forces so they can respond quickly to any potential civil unrest around the country, following violent protests that rocked the nation’s capital and several states this summer.

Military leaders don’t explicitly tie the changes to concerns about possible election-related violence, but the nation is bracing for unrest surrounding the tumultuous presidential campaign, particularly if voting results are not known for days or weeks because of the increase in mail-in ballots.

According to the Guard, about 600 troops — 300 in both Alabama and Arizona — will be ready to deploy within 24 hours if requested by a governor in another state. And Guard leaders have also bought more than $200,000 in new protective equipment, and have increased troop training on proper procedures in dealing with protests.

The moves come as Defense Department and National Guard leaders work to address shortfalls that were identified in the military response to the June protests triggered by the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. Military reviews of the response to the protests found problems with coordination between various state and federal government and law enforcement agencies — which at times slowed down troop movements.

The last thing in the world I wanted was for tRump to get covid, esprcially this late in theelection

not because I care about him, which I don't, but of the disruption, changes to the election. For starters, no more debates, he will garner sympathy votes, we know he will have the best treatments money can buy plus I would bet he and his spawn have been on plasma or other therapies to build up their immune system. If he's hit hard Pence will take over responsibilities and we may see a major election disruption, postponement, mostly because of repug dirty tricks. If he ends up in a hospital or dies, which isn't very likely imho, Pence will be president, not sure if that voids votes so far as the ticket changes which is a nightmare all in itself, pence would be a harder candidate to beat, many of the right who were disgusted with tRump will vote for pence.
Also, I hope the orange pig didn't infect VP Biden.
