Newly unearthed video shows Trump 'meeting with Russians in Moscow in 1995' over 'building project'

The former mayor of Moscow has confirmed Donald Trump met with officials in Russia in the 1990s to discuss a possible building project after archival footage of the meeting was posted online.

The video, allegedly aired by Russian state television in 1995, shows the US president meeting with members of the former mayor’s administration.

“Trump was in Moscow,” Yury Luzhkov, the mayor of Moscow from 1992 through 2010, told the Interfax news agency. “He had contacts…on matters related to the construction of the Okhotny Ryad underground mall on Manezh Square.”

The video adds new insight into Mr Trump’s business dealings in Russia well before the 2016 presidential election. It had previously been reported he visited Moscow in 1996 — a year after his alleged meeting with the former mayor’s administration — when he announced plans to invest upwards of $250m into the city.

We need better research against Republican figures. Let's find embarrassing stuff

I cannot believe that in a party that is almost 100% white, 100% conservative and and 100% male we cannot find embarrassing pictures and/or sexual assault allegations against Republican figures.
We need a team of investigators going deep into the lives of these assholes, because they are very good at doing it to us.

Every yearbook, picture, tweet, blog post, interview etc. must be carefully dissected, Going back 50 years if necessary,

Iowa poll (Emerson): Biden beats Trump, and no other Democrat does

A new Emerson poll shows that Joe Biden had a 2% lead over Donald Trump in Iowa, where Trump defeated Hillary Clinton by 9.5%.

NBC Analysis: Russian govt. media "now promoting the presidential aspirations" of Tulsi Gabbard

Gabbard was the subject of 20 fawning stories, compared to 10 negative about her opponents:

Gabbard was mentioned on the three sites about twice as often as two of the best known Democratic possibilities for 2020, Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders, each with 10 stories. Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren had fewer. In each case, the other contenders were treated more critically than Gabbard, with headlines like "'Don't Run': Vermont Paper Begs Bernie Sanders Not to Seek US Presidency in 2020" and "Sexist much?
