I've always loved Bonnie's smoky bluesy vocals and she really shines on this collection of great songs and probably one of her most commercially successful albums.

The Doors
Self titled album

Was there ever a better debut album than this one? Ray Manzarek on his Vox organ provides the perfect accompaniment for Jim Morrison's hypnotic vocals with this set of tremendously powerful songs, a classic soundtrack from the Vietnam era of the late '60s.
Includes "Break On Through," "The Crystal Ship," "Light My Fire," and "The End".
Would you eat something made with cricket flour?
Loblaws, Canadas largest grocery chain, is now selling cricket flour. The product itself is not new; many speciality stores have been selling it for a few years now. But Loblaw is the first major Canadian retailer to sell the product under its own private label, Presidents Choice.
For Loblaw, with its head office at 1 Presidents Choice Circle in Brampton, Ont., this is not a decision made lightly. Loblaw boldly put a picture of a cricket on the same package as its prized Presidents Choice brand logo. And given the growing number of consumers looking for protein alternatives beyond the meat trifecta of beef, pork and chicken, selling cricket flour is a sign that the protein wars in Canada are heating up.

Getting Sick Can Be Really Expensive
When you get really sick, the medical bills may not be your biggest financial shock.
New research shows that for a substantial fraction of Americans, a trip to the hospital can mean a permanent reduction in income. Some people bounce right back, but many never work as much again. On average, people in their 50s who are admitted to the hospital will experience a 20 percent drop in income that persists for years. Over all, income losses dwarfed the direct costs of medical care.

Knucklehead alert
In response to calls from President Trump and lawmakers to arm educators, Alabama state Rep. Harry Shiver, a Republican, says that guns don't belong in the hands of teachers -- specifically "our ladies."
Shiver's comments came in response to a bill that would designate special firearms-trained teachers and administrators at schools in Alabama. Shiver, a retired phys ed teacher himself, opposed the measure on the grounds that most women "are scared of guns," and should therefore not be expected to wield a firearm in the classroom.

Leon Russell
self titled album
1970
Leon Russell's voice is an acquired taste for sure, but his raspy bluesy singing on this album sure sent me to the record store, not to mention the great country, blues, and rock tracks! "Song For You" was worth the price of the entire album, I think!
Includes "Song For You," "Delta Lady," "Roll Away the Stone."
