ND Grain Growers to Pence: "We can't just store it all -- We don't have the space"

North Dakota agribusinessman tells Pence he can’t sell enough grain

SNIP

7/25/2018 VP Pence visited Grand Forks, ND

Pence attended a fundraiser at the Hilton Garden Inn for Senate candidate Rep. Kevin Cramer, R-N.D. While at the Hilton, Pence also met privately with agriculture leaders to discuss the $12 billion farm aid program President Donald Trump announced Tuesday.

Rick Burgum, chairman for Arthur Cos., was one of the agriculture leaders who traveled to meet Pence in Grand Forks Wednesday.
The company, owned by members of Gov. Doug Burgum’s family, is involved in several aspects of the ag industry, including grain elevators.

The thing that is at the forefront for anybody that is in production agriculture is getting rid of our crop this fall,” said Burgum, the governor’s first cousin. “It’s not just that the administration is going to throw $12 billion at the farmer, it’s moving the crop.”

Last year, Burgum said his company sold 16 trains of grain last year, adding each train has approximately 110 to 115 cars. This year Burgum has only been able to schedule four deliveries.

“We have no way to sell today more trains,” he said. “And we need to. … We can’t just store it all -- we don’t have the space, we don’t have the money. And we’re typical of every other elevator in the country.”

Burgum agreed with Cramer and Trump that the U.S. needs more fair trade agreements with countries like China.

“But it’s unfortunate we’re trying to fix them all at the same time, with every country,” Burgum said. “Maybe we could do it one at a time. That’s not the way they’re doing it.”

Second dead body washes up on Trump Golf Course shore

https://twitter.com/krassenstein/status/1022488461134254081

Last night, a body washed ashore right off the coast of Trump Golf Links, Ferry Point, located on the East River, just east of Manhattan. The body was discovered by children playing near the river at approximately 8:30 pm.

According to the New York Post, the actual location of the body was considered to be property of the golf course. Security guards working for the golf course quickly blocked off the area, while the NYPD Harbor Unit investigated the matter.

The body was decomposed to the extent that the gender of the individual could not be immediately determined, and it is now in the possession of the New York City medical examiner, who will try to determine the cause of death.

This is the second body found at a Trump golf course in the last 13 months. Last July a deceased 26-year old woman washed ashore at the Trump National Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
....

(Perhaps its a coincidence. Perhaps the current flow just brings bodies to Trump locations.)

I Will keep watching this story as to the identity & cause.
Gee, sure hope they weren't aspiring young models

Will post as more is reported.

Owner Of Russian Import/Export Company Charged With Evading U.S. Export Controls By Sensitive Electronics To Russian Military And Int

NEWARK, N.J. – A resident and citizen of Russia was indicted by a federal grand jury today for his alleged role in an international procurement network that smuggled over $65 million worth of electronics from the United States to Russia in violation of export control laws, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito announced.

Alexander Brazhnikov Sr., 72, of Moscow, is charged by indictment with one count each of conspiracy to commit money laundering, conspiracy to smuggle goods from the United States, and conspiracy to violate the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). Brazhnikov Sr. is currently at large.

According to documents filed in this case and statements made in court:

Brazhnikov Sr. was the owner, chief executive officer, and principal operator of ABN Universal, a privately held Russian microelectronics import/export company in Moscow.

His son, Alexander Brazhnikov Jr., 39, of Mountainside, owned and operated four New Jersey-based microelectronics export companies in Carteret, Mountainside, Union, and Manalapan.

Brazhnikov Sr. and Brazhnikov Jr. participated in a sophisticated procurement network that secretly acquired large quantities of electronic components from U.S. manufacturers and vendors and exported those parts to Russia on behalf of Russian business entities authorized to supply those parts to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (FSB) and Russian entities involved in the design of nuclear warheads and other weapons.

As part of the scheme, Brazhnikov Sr., through his Moscow business, obtained initial requests for quotes for the U.S.-
