In the wake of Thursday’s deadly bridge collapse in Miami, Florida, a months-old connection between the company that built the bridge and the Trump campaign has been revealed.

The Miami company behind the bridge that collapsed (Munilla Construction Management) has alleged connections to Paul Manafort. No, this isn't a joke. Manafort was apparently helping his client Yan Jiehe find U.S. construction firms ripe for acquisition.

Though it does not appear that Jiehe ever purchased CMC, business website BisNow reported in September that the company may be under scrutiny due to their relationship with Manafort and the Chinese builder in light of their $66 million contract with Pentagon to build a school at Guantanamo Bay.

“Foreign involvement in such a sensitive project,” BisNow’s September report noted, “could be problematic.”

Australian law enforcement agencies working with international counterparts in the US and Canada have successfully smashed a sophisticated criminal enterprise servicing the organised crime market with secure, encrypted communications.

It will be alleged Canadian-based company Phantom Secure specifically designed devices for the organised crime market allowing criminals around the globe to use unrestricted, secure communications beyond the capability of law enforcement interception.

Described by Australian authorities as a landmark day, five men have been indicted in the United States in connection with the operations of Phantom Secure, including the company’s CEO, on charges they knowingly participated in a criminal enterprise that facilitated the transnational importation and distribution of narcotics through the sale and service of encrypted communications.

The impact of this takedown to the global operations of Phantom Secure its infrastructure and client base in Australia have been significant, and will be sustained.

Law enforcement agencies across multiple continents have worked together to dismantle the network infrastructure of Phantom Secure, located in various offshore jurisdictions, disabling the encrypted platform and the thousands of secure devices used on it.

Hillary Clinton Speech at Rutgers Sold Out, Moved to Larger Venue

Hillary Clinton will make a rare appearance at Rutgers University to talk about politics, American democracy, her career and women’s role in the political movement.

The university’s Eagleton Institute of Politics will host the talk on March 29. The former secretary of state, senator, first lady and presidential candidate will speak at the College Avenue Gym at the New Brunswick, New Jersey, campus.

Clinton will talk with Eagleton director Ruth Mandel about her years in public life, the institutions of government, her political career and her role in shaping women’s political history, according to the Eagleton Institute.

Clinton will visit the university as the Eagleton Institute’s 2017-2018 Clifford P. Case Professor of Public Affairs.

Hillary Clinton Speech at Rutgers Sold Out, Moved to Larger Venue

NEW BRUNSWICK — Tickets for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s appearance at Rutgers University were in such high demand that the school moved it to a larger location.

The school announced on Monday that rather than holding the March 29 event at the College Avenue Gymnasium, it will instead be held at the Rutgers Athletic Center in Piscataway. The Eagleton Institute of Politics said the move was being made “due to the extraordinary level of interest” in the program.

The College Avenue Gym, also know as The Barn, can hold up to 2,500.
The building serves as the home site for the Rutgers volleyball team. The Rutgers Athletic Center, also known as the RAC, has a capacity of 8,000 and is the home for the basketball, wrestling, and gymnastics teams.
