Is that true?

On Bill Maher last night he mentioned that 12% of Bernie or Bust supports voted for Trump. Enough to swing the election. Can someone explain to me why anyone would do that. Did anyone NOT see this coming? We seriously need to get our shit together and all pull in the right direction. I don't care who leads us, honestly. Any one who voted for Trump or decided to take the ball and go home deserves a large share of the blame. Because I assumed we knew better. We can't get to that point again.

Nigel Farage, the former leader of the pro-Brexit U.K. Independence Party and a close ally of President Donald Trump, visited the Ecuadorian embassy in London, which is currently the residence of WikiLeaks founder and editor Julian Assange.

Farage went to the embassy Thursday morning and stayed for roughly 40 minutes, leaving around noon, according to a report by BuzzFeed. When a reporter from the site confronted Farage, he claimed that he didn’t remember why he had been at the embassy. After being asked if he had gone to meet with Assange, Farage replied “I never discuss where I go or who I see.”

Assange has been voluntarily staying at the Ecuadorian embassy since 2012 in order to avoid rape allegations in Sweden.

Donald Trump Seriously Ended His ABC Interview by Talking About Crowd Size

It seems President Donald Trump is still not over talking about the crowds at his inauguration. Tonight during his interview with David Muir on ABC, Trump talked about his plan to repeal Obamacare, immigration, terrorism and…yes, crowd size. Toward the end of the interview, he and Muir walked around and looked at some of the photos already on the walls of the White House.

The first two photos Trump showed were of his first dance with First Lady Melania Trump and of the swearing in. Then, he pointed to a different photo and said, “Here’s a picture of the event. Here’s a picture of the crowd. Now, the audience was the biggest ever, but this crowd was massive. Look how far back it goes. This crowd was massive. And I would actually take that camera and take your time if you want to know the truth.”

Trump and Muir then discussed the “warmth” between the new and former President, Barack Obama, and the fact that Ivanka Trump may at some point get an office in the White House. At the conclusion of the interview, Muir said “Just before we leave, the President wants to show us just one more image.”

Killer Mike Has Some Advice For White Liberals Afraid Of Donald Trump

“Go find other people and become a part of movements that you don’t lead.”

WASHINGTON ― The crowd packed into Echostage nightclub on the eve of President Donald Trump’s inauguration was raucous when Michael Render, better known as Killer Mike ― half of the hip-hop duo Run The Jewels ― walked to center stage.

Render had worked for Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign last year. He told the audience the Vermont senator’s words resonated to him in a way similar to those of Martin Luther King Jr. That meant a lot to a black man from Atlanta who had distanced himself from the kind of blind faith some people seem to have in their politicians.

“I just want to tell everyone who worked that campaign, or who works any campaign, that, at the end of the day, no politician is your ruler, or your master, or your lord,” Render said to loud applause. “These people work for us. We do not work for them.

“No matter who won, the day after tomorrow, this is our motherfucking country,” he continued. “Who gives a fuck who is president? And what we will build or keep this republic going on is truth, honesty, integrity, love and democracy.”

Top Democrats Explain Decision to Support Ben Carsons Nomination

The Senate Banking Committee voted unanimously today to approve Ben Carson as President Trump‘s Secretary of Housing and Urban Development. And yes, all the Democrats on the committee voted for him, including none other than Elizabeth Warren.

You may recall that during Carson’s hearings, Warren confronted him over HUD investments that could potentially enrich Trump businesses.

Warren issued a statement today saying that she still has concerns about Caron’s “inexperience in the field,” but she’s encouraged by the promises he has made for the department...

This is why the Republicans will always win power. After a display like we had on Saturday, the Democratic party seems to be back in usual form. I don't understand the desire to be as submissive as Chris Christie is to Trump.
