Trump was excited by research that indicates that sunshine greatly diminishes the half life of the coronavirus.
He will probably start shooting sunshine up all our asses.
Oh wait, he has been doing that for four years.
Child Neglect
My daughter plays basketball with a girl whose parent is a right wing nutcase... Constantly agitating on social media.
She is going to Lansing today to participate in the protest against the stay at home order. Whether or not she is exposed to the virus today, could the reckless act of intentionally congregating in an unsafe environment be an act of child neglect? She will go home and could possibly infect her children
I acknowledge her Constitutional right to protest. But her first ammendment rights can be truncated if they interfere with another persons safety. particularly an unwitting minor child.
I'm not advocating for that, but I wonder if that is a legitimate argument?
South Carolina and Georgia
As of this evening, each of the states have reported the following coronavirus cases and deaths:
South Carolina- 4,439 cases and 124 deaths
Georgia- 19,399 cases and 775 deaths
I will report back in two weeks.
South Carolina Social Engineering Experiment
South Carolina currently stands at 4,377 cases of Coronavirus and 120 deaths.
The Governor plans to reopen beaches and retail stores on Tuesday. I guess he is willing to use his state's citizens as participants in an experiment to see if it is safe to take such steps.
The next 14 days may show how smart he was.
Putin
Putin, in an address to the nation to mark Orthodox Easter on Sunday assured the nation "Everything is under total control".
Who does that sound like?
Unified Messaging
Democrats (with the help of some republican governors) seem to have come up with a unified message: testing. Every interview and every press conference should hammer the point. There are numerous steps Trump could and should have taken to ramp up testing. Independent voters and some "moderate" (if there are any left) republicans can understand that.

I am listening to Cuomo's presser and have learned so much more about coronavirus than fro Fauci.
Will this strategy work?
Will his inciting protests a angry mobs actually work to his advantage?
