Bryan Cranston says he'll move to Canada if Trump wins

"Absolutely. I would definitely move. It’s not real to me that that would happen. I hope to God it won’t," Cranston on Sunday told The Bestseller Experiment podcast when asked if he would take an extended holiday to Vancouver if the Republican candidate prevails over Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

“It wouldn’t be a vacation. I’d be an expatriate,” Cranston added. The Emmy-award winning actor is the latest Hollywood celebrity — joining Girls creator and star Lena Dunham, Chelsea Handler and Barbra Streisand — to claim they would move out of the country if Trump wins.

Cranston said university courses will be taught in the future on the Republican candidate. "There will be books written, movies made. I'm telling you, there will be theatrical productions about Donald Trump because of the anomaly that he presented," Cranston said.

As a Canadian, I would welcome Cranston as a fellow Canuck. Same with so many of you DUers. Hopefully no mass exodus will be required, however.

What's the longest you've been away from the DU?

There seems to be a good number of regular posters here.

What's the longest period you've gone without visiting this forum? Days? Weeks? Months? Years?

What precipitated the hiatus? Vacation? A feud with another forum member that left you fed up and ready for a break? Just got busy with other things?

How do you feel about DU threads

where the OP responds to every post? I'm not fond of that practice. It's not the worst offense of forum etiquette, by any stretch of imagination. But it seems to scream "Look at me," especially when some of the OP's replies (or many of them) are simply an acknowledgement that you posted.

Just curious how others perceive it.

Night Fever cover -- sacrilege or well done?

The original will always hold a special place, of course, but what are your thoughts on this modern version that was released Thursday?

Doggy doo head scratcher

No, I don't recommend scratching your noggin with poop from your pooch!

I've always been perplexed by a particular category of dog owner. There are those who are highly responsible, walking their dog regularly and always picking up the dog poop and discarding it. Then there are individuals who, unfortunately, do not seem to give a damn. They at least get their dog out for a walk sometimes but they won't bother to clean up the crap.

And then comes the ones that befuddle me: the people who scoop up Rex's turds in a bag but then just leave that bag sitting there in public. I walked into work today and there on the sidewalk was a plastic bag full of dog shit. Seriously? Who do they expect is going to come along after them and toss away their packaged poop?

Just strange.

She won't get locked up, but she may be fined

Not Hillary, but this woman from Portland Maine who is accused of stealing Donald Trump campaign signs. Maybe some of us at the DU could chip in to pay her penalty, if she is found guilty.

A 24-year-old Portland woman was issued a summons Thursday night after a Falmouth patrol officer caught her with several Trump campaign signs in her car — and one in her hand, a Falmouth Police Department official said Friday.

The woman’s name was not immediately available early Friday evening. Falmouth police Lt. John Kilbride said that the incident happened shortly before 10:30 p.m. on Route 1. The signs were on public property.

He said that the woman “stated she was upset with Trump” when asked why she had the signs.

Taking, defacing or disturbing signs bearing political messages relating to a general or primary election or a referendum is a civil violation in Maine. Those who do so face a fine of up to $250.

Chris Christie "Disappointed" but still supporting Trump

"In the end, this election is about bigger issues than that," says Christie.

Bigger issues than Trump being completely unfit for POTUS? I think not!

You can probably hear the San Fran fans in your home

even if your TV is off. Giants pull ahead 4-3 in the 8th inning.

Do not adjust your TV set

Yes, Jake Arrieta just hit a three-run homer off of Madison Bumgarner.

Wow! Just wow!
