The Polack MSgt
The Polack MSgt's JournalFriday night rock and roll for the DU MA peeps
Get this shack shaking
For a late 70s rocker, this is a surprisingly funky little tune. As always I love the interplay Mark and Dave Knoplfer would routinely pull off so easily back then
Saw these guys in a local HS Gym when I was in 9th grade
How are all of you? I hope you folks all have a nice calm restorative evening
Pour an appropriate sized dose of good liquor and listen to good music.

Fuck you Houston. That's all
Sorry
EDITED TO ADD -
Houston's best 5 players should be banned for life. If criminal cheaters aren't punished, they can still win.
Fuck Houston
About to drive down to St Louis to see Carolyn Wonderland
1st show since February 2020.
Wooohh!
The Old Rock House requires masks and vax or negative test if you're wondering.
Here's one from the latest record, doing justice to a Dylan Classic. She plays just a gorgeous steel guitar here
My favorite teenager - He writes sings and plays
Couple of the good Buddies
Big storm rolling through my area
So far there have been 4 confirmed tornados on the ground.
Chester Illinois was hit and there were debris signatures up to 20k feet on the doppler radar
This is a cool video, from a pretty interesting guitarist
Not sure how often a 9 string guitar would be the 1st choice, but it works on this song. The rattle trick is pretty damn cool too
This is a story of 2 Luther Johnsons.
It's still a fertile field out there and I keep stumbling across very talented electric blues guitarists.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised. After all so many artists recorded on so many small labels for so many years...
Any way, I was looking around for Luther Johnson Jr. songs, and came across Luther "Snake Boy" Johnson. A completely different, ahem, Johnson... FFS. I guarantee he chose that nick name himself.
He was pretty damn good. He seems to've stayed active for a while, and I NEVER HEARD OF HIM - until 4 hours ago.
I especially like that for both of these cats, I can hear the guitar in the mix all the time, not just during a break for the solo
I will look for more - YouTube seems to not have a big selection from this guy.
Now, Luther "Guitar Jr." Johnson on the other hand - He has a heap of music readily available
This one stands out for me...
Cold morning in the 618
