Militarization costs money

"militarization of police "

They act like they are getting these military items for free, but there are huge costs involved. A department often has to transport equipment itself. If you're talking about a Bearcat or other personnel carriers with armor, then your talking horrible gas mileage costs.

You also have to store these items, and storing a large item like a Bearcat is not cheap. There is also the cost of maintenance. The vehicles take a lot of oil and other routine maintenance. Don't forget the training. Many law enforcement are totally unfamiliar with these vehicles and how to even run them, let alone use them effectively.

All net too

It was all net, too. His form even looked good shooting it.

Now, when you're talking about Los Angeles, you're talking about the Clippers and not the Lakers. When was the last time Golden State was in the conversation regularly? About the 70s. I guess they had some success in the 80s when they had Sleepy Floyd. And here comes Atlanta. Have to put Cleveland back in the conversation for era teams if James stays there.

great complement to McCartney and Lennon

If McCartney and Lennon had the song writing, then Harrison had the guitar playing. There was an interview with Pete Townsend, who almost spoke in awe of Harrison. Said he wished he could play like George.

Great segment

That guy was great. The segment almost had no rhyme or reason in its relation to the show. Rooney was the cathartic complainer before we could all do it on the internet forums. You lived vicariously through Rooney as he railed on--well, everything. I always remember when he railed about soap dishes being right in the line of fire of the shower spout. Hilarious.
