Reporter: "Is the president a white supremacist?" Beto: "HE IS."

Just showed the clip on MSNBC.

Reporter asked him point blank, and he replied without hesitation. Said "He's on record as saying he'd rather have immigrants come from Nordic countries than shithole countries."

And more, but I'm not a stenographer, so keep an eye out for the clip.

Trump to Ohio shooting survivors: God was watching, Melania and I are with you all the way

In Dayton, Trump and his wife Melania spent most of their time meeting patients and staff at Miami Valley Hospital, White House spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham said.

Trump told shooting survivors, “you had God watching. I want you to know we’re with you all the way,” according to Grisham.

Protesters gathered, holding signs that called for restrictions on gun buying and in one case simply demanding that politicians “Do something!” A Trump baby blimp, an inflatable effigy of the president in nappies, made an appearance.

“We don’t want him here,” one resident, Lynell Graham, told CNN, echoing earlier comments by Dayton’s Democratic mayor Nan Whaley, who said she planned to tell Trump “how unhelpful he’s being.”

Trump's first stop is the hospital in Dayton, and they're taking him through the back entrance...

...because protesters AND the Baby Trump Blimp are waiting for him at the front. So he probably won't see it at all. Snowflake!

Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA): Assault weapons are extremely popular, so I'm not going to support a ban

Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA) said on Tuesday that he would not support a ban on assault-style rifles because they are “very popular.”

Toomey made the remarks after Fox News host Sandra Smith asked him if Republicans would do anything to prevent mass shooters from getting magazines that hold up to 100 rounds of ammunition.

“My focus is on keeping guns out of the hands of people who should not have guns, people who have no legal right to a firearm,” Toomey insisted. “Guns that are described as assault weapons are almost invariably no more powerful than regular hunting rifles.”

“They are no more lethal,” he continued. “They are extremely popular, so to ban an extremely popular firearm, I’m not going to support that, that would be an infringement on the rights of law-abiding citizens.”
