Trump: "The kidney, very special, the kidney has a very special place in the heart."

“The kidney, very special, the kidney has a very special place in the heart. It’s an incredible thing. … There’s a spirit like you see rarely,” Trump said, according to CBS reporter Kathryn Watson.

SO SAD and UNFAIR that Trump & Epstein's cocaine-fueled underage party for two is in the news again

Trump acted like a ‘total beast’ at cocaine-fueled parties with girls as young as 15 years old

https://www.rawstory.com/2019/07/trump-acted-like-a-total-beast-at-cocaine-fueled-parties-with-girls-as-young-as-15-years-old-report/

The future president and Epstein reportedly were the only two guests at one Mar-A-Lago party, in 1992, where Trump arranged to have 28 women flown in for a “calendar girl” contest, which calls to mind some reporting that came out just ahead of the 2016 election.

According to Michael Gross, who has covered the real estate developer and former reality TV star since 1985, Trump was once known for throwing cocaine-fueled parties where teenage models were introduced to the real estate developer’s rich, older friends, reported The Daily Beast in October 2016.

The photographer and a male model who attended the parties said they never saw Trump use drugs himself, but they said “he was getting laid like crazy.”

“Trump was at the heart of it,” the photographer said. “He loved the attention and in private, he was a total f*cking beast.”

Maggie Haberman
@maggieNYT
Acosta was pushed into doing press conference by POTUS, per ppl briefed. POTUS is following the news coverage closely. Acosta wants to defend self now but also has few fans in Mulvaney-run White House.

POTUS, ppl close to him have said, is monitoring the television closely. The more he sees Acosta name coming up in Epstein coverage, the less safe Acosta becomes.

WOW! Trump says he'll be "looking at" Epstein's sex crimes case "very carefully." HE'S ON IT! USA!

Trump told reporters at the White House that Acosta has been a “very good” Labor secretary and that Acosta probably wished he had handled the Epstein plea deal “a different way.”

The president added that he would be looking at the case “very carefully.”

“I feel very badly, actually, for Secretary Acosta because I’ve known him as being somebody that works so hard and has done such a good job,” Trump said during an Oval Office meeting with the emir of Qatar.

The president also sought to distance himself from his onetime friend Epstein. The two men used to socialize together in Palm Beach, Fla.

“He was a fixture in Palm Beach. I had a falling out with him a long time ago. I don’t think I’ve spoken to him for 15 years. I wasn’t a fan,” Trump said.

It's only 10 AM but I'm awarding TODAY'S INTERNET to the one and only TOM TOMORROW.

President Donald Trump reacted in “outrage” to a misleading Fox News report about the Pledge of Allegiance — and he was buried in ridicule.

City Council members in Saint Louis Park, Minnesota, voted last month to stop reciting the pledge ahead of their public meetings, but they’re reconsidering the decision after it prompted local and national controversy.

“Fox & Friends” inaccurately reported that the City Council had “banned” the pledge, and the president took the bait in a Tuesday morning tweet.

“Outrage is growing in the Great State of Minnesota where our Patriots are now having to fight for the right to say the Pledge of Allegiance,” Trump tweeted. “I will be fighting with you! @foxandfriends”

Feb 1, 2019: "My admin has made the fight against human trafficking one of our highest priorities"

Remarks by President Trump in Meeting on Human Trafficking on the Southern Border
LAW & JUSTICE
Issued on: February 1, 2019

https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/remarks-president-trump-meeting-human-trafficking-southern-border/

Human trafficking is worse now than it’s ever been in the history of our world. It’s a world problem. It’s a U.S. problem, but it’s a world problem, caused, to a certain extent, by the Internet. One of the reasons that we have it so bad is the Internet. That’s why it’s picked up tremendously over the last five years, because of the Internet.

My administration has made the fight against human trafficking one of our highest priorities.
