Agony though it may be, Id like to hang in there for the impeachment hearings, the resignation speech, the farewell helicopter ride to Mara-A-Lago. You know. The Good Stuff. That weve all been waiting for.

Getting REALLY sick of the "Something is wrong with Trump and it's a cause for concern" stories
They are all over Raw Story today. Scarborough and Deutsch talking about how they've known him for years but they have "never seen him like this."
https://www.rawstory.com/2018/03/morning-joe-panel-agrees-presidency-has-twisted-trump-and-theyre-truly-terrified-of-whats-next/
"Longtime allies" worried about his "erratic behavior.
https://www.rawstory.com/2018/03/something-wrong-even-longtime-trump-allies-starting-freak-erratic-behavior/
This shit didn't just happen, it's not the result of his having a "bad day." This is Trump every frigging day. And no one is doing anything about it. We have Articles of Impeachment and the 25th Amendment ready and waiting if the Republicans grow a spine, or if Democrats take the House and Senate in November.
But the "thoughts and prayers" for Trump's mental health are nothing more than a Republican circle jerk.
My autobiography will be STEEPED in innuendo, inaccuracies, wild accusations & laced with profanity
Just like my posts, although I will probably only devote a single chapter to DU.
Rest assured, though, it WILL be a "page turner."
"Trump has told them to stay, but privately told Kelly to move them out."
President Donald Trump is growing increasingly annoyed with top aide Jared Kushner, and hes sounding regretful Kushner is taking fire, while simultaneously annoyed his son-in-law is yet another legal liability.
According to a New York Times report from Maggie Haberman, The Kushner problem adds to other mounting problems like chief of staff John Kelly battling with the Trump children and news that chief economic adviser, Gary Cohn was ready to resign after Trumps speech on tariffs.
Kushners legal problems and the reports of the Kushner familys real estate company causing his security clearance downgrade, both Trump and his staff have been frustrated. The Times reported that some aides even regret Trumps daughter and son-in-law working in the West Wing and want them to leave.
According to Haberman, Trump has told them to stay, but privately told Kelly to move them out.

Ben didn't get his $31K dining set, and Mike Huckabee got fired for being a homophobe.
A great day. At least a wheel or two remains on the world.
On this day in rock history (1969), Jim Morrison allegedly exposed himself onstage
Did he or didn't he? The late Doors frontman Jim Morrison was charged with exposing himself before a stunned audience in Florida on March 1, 1969, though he vehemently denied the allegation. Bandmate Robby Krieger still says that no photographic evidences exists to prove it.
Regardless, on Sept. 20, 1970, Morrison was arrested in connection with the incident in Coconut Grove, charged with dropping his pants before some 12,000 fans at a Doors concert. Morrison rejected a proposed plea bargain, and was ultimately sentenced to jail and to pay a fine after being found guilty of indecent exposure and open profanity.
Krieger steadfastly maintained Morrison's innocence, saying: They were complaining about Jim whipping it out onstage, which he didnt do: 500 photos were entered as evidence at the trial and not one showed anything of the sort. ... I think it was all very politically motivated. People were running for office, so we were a good target.
But a reporter for the Miami Herald, Larry Mahoney, told a different story. In an article headlined Rock Group Fails to Stir a Riot, he wrote, "Many of the nearly twelve thousand youths said they found the bearded singers exhibition disgusting. Included in the audience were hundreds of unescorted junior and senior high school girls. ... Morrison appeared to masturbate in full view of the audience, screamed obscenities, and exposed himself."

Kurt Eichenwald shares Hope Hicks "white lie" about Trump's amphetamine derivatives use in 1982
@kurteichenwald
White lies: when I asked hope Hicks about trumps use of amphetamine derivatives in 1982, she said he took them for a few days. When I said medical records I had showed he used them till 1990 - or 8 years when 25 days is max before addiction - she called me liberal & hung up.

....for those wondering, the amphetamine derivatives are known as chalkies or tombstones when sold on street. Trump had a second doctor he never disclosed who was exposed for providing these to famous people. Trump needed help to kick them. Why have you never heard this?.....

https://www.rawstory.com/2018/03/revealed-devin-nunes-gop-intel-members-leaked-text-messages-meant-discredit-russia-probe/

45 years ago...March 1, 1973: Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon
The numbers attached to The Dark Side of the Moon are pretty impressive. More than 50 million copies sold worldwide, 15 straight years on Billboards album chart, consistently ranked in the Top 10 of many best-albums-ever-made polls. But Pink Floyds achievements with their eighth LP go deeper than that. In a way, their 1973 epic changed the way people made and listened to albums. Theres still no better head trip -- legally at least -- available.
Following original leader Syd Barretts breakdown and departure from the band in the late 60s, Pink Floyd took off in a different direction. The psychedelic tones Barrett brought to the music were still there, but the albums became headier -- sturdier in ways that the always-delicate Barrett couldnt conceive or articulate. Through a series of musically complex and exploratory records, the four remaining members of Pink Floyd connected personal themes to space age freakout music.
Everything leading up to The Dark Side of the Moon, which was released in March 1973, was mere prep work. With their 43-minute opus, Pink Floyd delivered a masterpiece on death, madness and the post-war problems of kids who came of age in the 50s. In a way its a tribute to Barrett, whose mental breakdowns were well-known and well-documented at that point. But its also a tribute to a generation of young twenty-somethings searching for reason and purpose. The Dark Side of the Moon doesnt necessarily have the answers; the best it can muster is a were-all-crazy-here shrug. And maybe thats enough.
But the albums 10 songs land with a massive force. From the opening heartbeat instrumental "Speak to Me" to the soul- and mind-cleansing closer "Eclipse," The Dark Side of the Moon made deep, heavy records -- ones without obvious radio singles, even though "Money" almost hit the Top 10 -- a commercial mainstay for the rest of the decade. Its influence still resonates indirectly (think Radioheads string of artsy, musically complex records) and directly (the Flaming Lips covered the entire album in 2009) with artists. It set up Pink Floyd for the rest of their career. It made headphone listening a required luxury. Its the aural equivalent of 2001: A Space Odyssey. And its still blowing minds.
