Former President Donald Trump's blog has been permanently shut down.

Former President Donald Trump’s blog — a webpage where he shared statements after larger social media companies banned him from their platforms — has been permanently shut down, his spokesman said Wednesday.

The page, “From the Desk of Donald J. Trump,” has been scrubbed from Trump’s website and “will not be returning,” his senior aide Jason Miller told CNBC.

“It was just auxiliary to the broader efforts we have and are working on,” Miller said in email correspondence.

Plane crashes into Percy Priest Lake; Christian diet guru Gwen Shamblin Lara, six other leaders from Brentwood's Remnant Fellowship on board, church says

SMYRNA, Tenn. (WTVF) — A small airplane crashed in the water on Percy Priest Lake in Smyrna Saturday morning.

Several law enforcement and emergency agencies responded to the crash around 11 a.m.

Authorities located a debris field near the last sighting of a Cessna C501 registered to JL&GL Productions LP, which is a partnership formed by Brentwood-based Christian diet guru Gwen Shamblin Lara and her husband Joe Lara.

The Feds Are Now Probing Rudy's Dodgy Ukraine-Biden Dossier

A years-old relic of the Trump-Ukraine scandal—a dossier that was aggressively promoted by Rudy Giuliani—is coming back to haunt him, just as federal law enforcement has ramped up its investigation into the former New York City mayor.

The dossier, a collection of documents centered with wild corruption accusations against Joe Biden, Marie Yovanovitch, and other officials, was widely and almost instantly dismissed as irrelevant ramblings, conspiracy theories, and political smears when it emerged in 2019. But Giuliani pushed it anyway to the highest echelons of the Trump White House and to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

Now, his efforts have been scrutinized by federal investigators, according to two people familiar with the matter. In a probe that began during former President Donald Trump’s time in power, the feds have been investigating whether some of Giuliani’s activities during the Trump-Ukraine saga amounted to unregistered and illegal lobbying on behalf of foreign figures.

Giuliani's legal team did not respond to requests for comment on this story. A spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York declined to comment. But Giuliani’s pushing of the dossier is one of a number of activities under investigation by federal law enforcement. Another, The Daily Beast has learned, is his attempts to introduce a conspiracy-peddling Ukrainian prosecutor general to then-Attorney General William Barr.

Barr threatened to quit last year over Trump's attempts to fire FBI Director

Last spring, when President Donald Trump was considering firing FBI Director Chris Wray, Attorney General Bill Barr threatened to resign in protest, a person briefed on the deliberations told Insider.

The person said Barr went to the White House for a meeting and was introduced to Bill Evanina, a top counterintelligence official in the Trump administration who had previously worked at the FBI. When Barr realized Evanina was being suggested as a replacement for Wray, he left the room.

It was the closest Wray, who has held onto his position under the Biden administration, ever came to getting fired during Trump's tenure, the person briefed on the matter said.

Former Georgia deputy wanted to charge Black people with felonies to prevent them from voting

A former Georgia deputy said he had plans to charge Black Georgians with felonies to prevent them from voting, according to court filings in the Middle District of Georgia.

Cody Griggers, 28, pleaded guilty on Monday to one count of possession of an unregistered firearm. He was fired from his position in November 2020 after FBI investigators messaged the Wilkinson County sheriff about the investigation into Griggers, the Raleigh News & Observer reported.

The FBI first became aware of Griggers from a separate federal case in California regarding an associate of his, Grey Zamudio. They started investigating Zamudio after receiving a tip about Facebook posts that said "it's up to vigilantie militia to crush the liberal terrorists." Investigators seized Zamudio's cell phone from a search warrant where they discovered that he and Griggers regularly communicated in a group text known as "Shadow Moses."

According to the filing, Griggers wrote extensively in the group about purchasing illegal weapons and explosives and "expressed viewpoints consistent with white racially motivated extremists," including positive references to the Holocaust.

Pelosi Laptop Thief's Dad Busted On Child Porn Charges In Undercover Sting

The father of a Pennsylvania woman who stole Nancy Pelosi's laptop was busted on child porn charges after asking an undercover detective posing as a teenage girl online to film herself using the bathroom, news reports say.

Rickey Williams, 55, -- a security guard from Dauphin County -- was communicating with the detective under the belief he was a girl on the Snapchat app, Fox43 says citing the criminal complaint.

During the course of this alleged communication, Williams, of Steelton, requested a video of the girl using the bathroom, Local21news reports.

Rickey Williams is the father of Riley Williams, the 22-year-old woman who stole Nancy Pelosi's laptop from the US Capitol during the Jan. 6 riots, according to abc27.

Prices at Trump's NYC buildings have plummeted in the latest sign that his name is 'radioactive'

After a tumultuous one-term presidency, a violent insurrection by supporters, and a retirement to Florida, the Trump name has attracted some negative connotations. And his real-estate holdings are feeling the heat: According to Curbed's analysis of a report from real-estate data firm UrbanDigs, Trump-branded Manhattan properties have lost half their value since Trump first took office.

UrbanDigs — which looked at the seven luxury buildings in Manhattan that still bear the Trump moniker, and three that used to — found that even properties that formerly had Trump in their names lost 17% of their value since 2016. By comparison, the overall price per square foot decline in Manhattan over the same period was just 9%.

In 2016, the average price per square foot in seven NYC properties run by his real-estate behemoth, the Trump Organization, was $3,346, according to the report. In 2017, following Trump's election and inauguration, that figure sunk to $1,903; by 2020, it was at $1,619. That's a drop of 51% from its 2016 price.

The average price per square foot for Manhattan properties was $1,995 in 2016, dipping to $1,815 in 2020 — a mere 9% decrease, Curbed notes.
