Shouldn't we be asking our Senators - Democratic and Republican alike-

to sign on to this letter?

Dem. Senators are an easy shot to ask, but Republican Senators should be put on the spot and required to answer on this as well, especially those running for re-election.

US Ambassador to the United Nations might be a better or more realistic position

for our beloved Joe Biden.

Sec. of State demands constant flying around the world and putting out diplomatic fires as before or as they erupt.
That's an awful lot to ask of a man who's spent virtually his whole life in public service and who in his mid-70's may want or need to cut back on that life.
The life of US ambassador to the UN is somewhat more predictable and doesn't require as hectic a lifestyle as Sec. of State.

A similar product was featured on TV's "Shark Tank" a few years ago.

I'm not a cat person myself, but that product did catch my attention.

I'd love to see Joe Biden as our Ambassador to the United Nations.

While he definitely has the experience and expertise to serve as Secretary of State, I can understand that serving as head of the State Dept. is one of the most physically demanding positions in the Federal Government, and after his years of service and all he has been through in his private life, he may want to slow down.

However, if he's open to any position at all, U.N. Ambassador could fit him nicely and not have him flying all over the world.
If he's offered that position, I'd hope he'd give it a chance.

John Fitzgerald Kennedy!

So glad I had that opportunity, as we were only given it once.

And on a Friday afternoon, which means it will be the hot topic

all this weekend, including the Sunday morning talk shows.
I'm already bored with the topic.
