Let's remember the following little incidents too:

the 1953 US/UK Iranian Coup D'etat, classified until the '90s. Talk about spreading democracy!

youtu DOT be/ZNCE6qFHi18

Mohammad Mosaddeq and the 1953 Coup in Iran

On the morning of August 19, 1953, a crowd of demonstrators operating at the direction of pro-Shah organizers with ties to the CIA made its way from the bazaars of southern Tehran to the center of the city. Joined by military and police forces equipped with tanks, they sacked offices and newspapers aligned with Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddeq and his advisers..(much more)>>

And there was the time the US blew an Iranian civilian aircraft right out of the sky, in their own airspace killing 3 times the number of children at Sandy Hook.

What would the US do if Iran blew a US civilian aircraft out of the sky in our own airspace? When was the last time Iran bombed and invaded another country? Let's count the US since 1999: Kosovo(PNAC) Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and who really knows where else.

If Iran is a "threat" then every single dollar every American has been forced to contribute to the "Defense" department has been wasted. Pissed away, Stolen.

Kennedy wants cancer patients and others with serious illnesses to be able to obtain drugs with cannabinoids, but in a more regulated way that could involve the U.S. Food and Drug Administration playing a larger role.

And THERE you have it! Kennedy wants to preserve pharmas control.

"They" are realizing that the word is getting out on the us federal patent on the use of cannabinoids and are getting their talking points in line...

"in a more regulated way"

Maybe someone could tell Kennedy that the patent is being sliced up and awarded as he types.

The Drug war was primarily about protecting pharma.

This is despicable.

and in the next war,the first PNAC war-

Kosovo--the Clinton administration put PSYOPs in CNN and NPR

It took a Dutch journalist to break the story

Military personnel from the Fourth Psychological Operations Group based at Fort Bragg, in North Carolina, have until recently been working in CNN’s hq in Atlanta.

CNN is up in arms about our report in the last issue of CounterPunch concerning the findings of the Dutch journalist, Abe de Vries about the presence of US Army personnel at CNN...CNN had hosted a total of five interns from US army psy-ops, two in television, two in radio and one in satellite operations. Jordan said the program had only recently terminated, I would guess at about the time CNN’s higher management read Abe de Vries’s stories.

Guessing they weren't just taking out the trash and answering phones

Oh, and the double taps? They were going on then-

NATO bombers have a diabolical practice: they drop a second missile minutes after the first, just as rescue teams arrive.

kr excellent work. In the end, one either believes in the concept of Karma or one does not...

tick tock

"...Not everybody attached to the Regime’s Cyber-Killing Corps is haunted by the horrors he has inflicted on defenseless people halfway around the world.

In a 2009 U.S. Naval Academy lecture, Dr. P.W. Singer of the Brookings Institution made reference to what he called 'predator porn' — footage of drone attacks proudly circulated by the people who committed those acts.

In a typical offering, Dr. Singer relates: "A Hellfire missile drops, goes in, and hits the target, followed by an explosion and bodies tossed into the air."

Singer described one clip of that kind, sent to him by a joystick-wielding assassin, that 'was set to music, the pop song 'I Just Want to Fly' by the band Sugar Ray.'

One deskbound drone jockey told Singer. "It's like a videogame. It can get a little bloodthirsty. But it's f****g cool."

rebels- refuse this tax bs

let me get this straight:

Government has been lying about this herb for 75 years or so, turning citizen upon citizen, gutting the bill of rights, destroying lives, killing pets, confiscating property and generally treating those who smoke flowertops because it makes them feel better than taking government approved Prozac or Zoloft or Luvox like terrorists.

And now those people are supposed to say ok, if you'll leave us alone we'll reward you lying filth with tax dollars? the same scum that patented the use of the main ingredient in marijuana while arresting dispensary owners and threatening the landlords with confiscation?

Hell no. Refuse this tax and regulate nonsense.

Maybe consider it after the government stops spending more than $2000 PER SECOND bombing people that weren't even alive when 911 happened.

Haven't people learned that giving liars and thieves more money rewards them instead of punishes them? What are these scum going to do with more tax dollars? Maybe start bombing Venezuela? If the crooks hadn't stolen the peoples wealth in the first place there wouldn't be any need for more taxes.

Shove the tax. Refuse the regulation of an herb. Try some freedom for a change.

PS: Don't believe the media BS- Washington didn't legalize cannabis, they decriminalized it. Why is the media lying to us?

this used to be a free country

where if someone wanted to pretend they were drinking beer they would have been left alone.

Now the mocking bird brigade is all up in their shorts.

"Whatever gets you through the night" has been perverted into "If it takes that to get you through the night you're a moron".

Those who are obsessed by the choices others make are twisted sick and lonely. When the country is literally falling apart, they have all the time in the world to berate their fellow citizens. Nice Going! Keep it up!

$468? Absurd. Count to 5, there's $10,000+ blown in the Theatre of War

no one making under $250,000 or something like that should even have to file FCS.

Soon no one in the Colonies will be able to remember anything like freedom at all. Probably a good thing too...

What does a trillion dollars look like? the little red thing on the left is a person and those are pallets of 100 dollar bills, double stacked

Maybe the biggest theft in human history. But the people can't even grasp it yet or they would stage a strike tomorrow. Good luck with your $468 problem.

check out this sky news recap of the real 1953 US/ UK Iran coup

I'm guessing they still don't teach this in schools...

(misposted, sorry)

channel 4 just aired a new series called Secret State based on a Very British Coup and it was typically brilliant. The saying "TV in America is a business, in Britain - an art form" holds up again. Don't Miss!

No one that paid attention to drug warriors in the 80's would ever under estimate Joe Biden

Biden has sponsored more damaging drug war legislation than any Democrat in Congress.

"Hate the way federal prosecutors use RICO laws to take aim at drug offenders? Thank Biden. How about the abomination that is federal asset forfeiture laws? Thank Biden. Think federal prosecutors have too much power in drug cases? Thank Biden. Think the title of a “Drug Czar” is sanctimonious and silly? Thank Biden, who helped create the position (and still considers it an accomplishment worth boasting about).

Tired of the ridiculous steroids hearings in Congress? thank Biden, who led the effort to make steroids a Schedule 3 drug, and has been among the blowhardiest of the blowhards when it comes to sports and performance enhancing drugs. Biden voted in favor of using international development aid for drug control (think plan Columbia, plan Afghanistan, and other meddling anti-drug efforts that have only fostered loathing of America, backlash, and unintended consequences). Oh, and he was also the chief sponsor of 2004’s horrendous RAVE Act...

Biden’s record on other criminal justice and civil liberties issues is just as bad. Opponents of the federalization of crime might note that the 1994 crime bill he sponsored created several new federal capital offenses. Biden also wants to expand federal penalties for hate crimes. He supports a federal smoking ban. His position on the federal drinking age is, and I quote, “absolutely do not” lower it to 18. He believes “most violent crime is related to drugs” (if he had said “drug prohibition,” he’d be closer to the truth). Biden also has an almost perfect anti-gun voting record. He said last year he favors “universal national service,” either in the Peace Corps or the military. Sounds like conscription to me. He says he’s opposed to the PATRIOT Act, but he voted for both the original bill and its re-authorization in 2005.

Foreign policy? Biden voted for the war on Iraq. Yes, he’s opposed to it now (and I like the partition plan he pushed in the primaries). But he didn’t vote correctly when it counted most. Biden also voted to send troops into Darfur. He wants to enlarge NATO. He voted in favor of the air strikes in Kosovo (THE FIRST PNAC WAR). He voted to strengthen the trade embargo against Cuba. His seems to be a meddling, interventionist, Clinton-esque foreign policy. His first instinct seems to be that the U.S. military’s objective include some vague notion of “doing good in the world.” Never mind the disastrous consequences that notion has reaped over the years..."

There's More "Joe Fucking Biden"!

But who is responsible for the administration's decision to prolong and even intensify the drug war, both domestically and abroad?

In a Rolling Stone article published last week, Tim Dickinson quotes a former White House official with intimate knowledge of the matter who claims that Vice President Joe Biden is a prime culprit:
"There are not many friends to legalization in this administration," says Kevin Sabet, director of the Drug Policy Institute at the University of Florida who served the White House as a top adviser on marijuana policy. In fact, the politician who coined the term "drug czar" -- Joe Biden -- continues to guide the administration's hard-line drug policy. "The vice president has a special interest in this issue," Sabet says. "As long as he is vice president, we're very far off from legalization being a reality."

The Huffington Post reached out to Biden's office for comment on Sabet's claim. It denied the request.

Joe Biden has already done plenty to the people of this nation. And if you want legal Cannabis but cheer Joe Biden, well... there's issues...
