Twitter uprising demands that Trump finally get kicked off the platform

The hashtag #DeactivateTrump was trending Saturday on Twitter, apparently an organic uprising among the platform’s not-insane faithful to have the disinformer-in-chief sent packing when he is finally evicted from the White House.

It’s unclear how the Twitter community’s opinion will factor into any decision made by the company as to the future of its complicated relationship with Donald Trump. But the viral hashtag made for some entertaining reading.

The hashtag also served as a reminder that change is coming for Trump.

One key difference will be that Trump will lose his designation as a “world leader” — established in 2019 because of Trump’s virtual American carnage — and, The Verge reports, “Twitter confirmed that Trump’s @realDonaldTrump account will be subject to the same rules as any other user — including bans on inciting violence and posting false information about voting or the coronavirus pandemic.................................

Moderna's vaccine doesn't need to be stored in deep-freeze conditions

The drugmaker on Monday said its coronavirus vaccine showed to be more than 94 percent effective, promising news as the coronavirus pandemic continues to break records.

The positive news comes just a week after Pfizer, in collaboration with BioNTech, reported its vaccine appeared to be more than 90 percent effective.
But Moderna’s vaccine comes with a critical advantage. It doesn’t need to be stored in deep-freeze conditions to remain viable like Pfizer’s shot.
Moderna said its vaccine candidate remains stable at 36 to 46 degrees Fahrenheit, the temperature of a standard home or medical refrigerator, for 30 days.

Analyst says Trump cases are getting dismissed at 'record speed'



(CNN)Voters in four states who had brought longshot lawsuits to disrupt President-elect Joe Biden's win and went nowhere in court dropped their cases Monday morning.


The cases were short-lived in Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania federal courts, and fed into a pro-Donald Trump legal strategy that's almost certain to fail to block Biden's presidential win before the Electoral College formalized it.



The suits mirrored one another and were all backed by the law firm of a nationally known conservative attorney, James Bopp Jr. In Michigan and Pennsylvania, the cases had also gone hand in hand with ones brought by the Trump campaign.

Bopp, when asked for an explanation on why his team is pulling the suits, responded, "because of [attorney-client] privilege and because I do not telegraph my next moves, I cannot comment."

The announcement that the voters are dropping their suits comes three days after a federal appellate court said voters couldn't bring some constitutional claims, essentially shutting down the path the Pennsylvania voters wanted to take in their suit.
Trump has refused to concede the election and continues to make false claims of widespread voter fraud with no evidence. His campaign and GOP allies have filed numerous and flimsy legal challenges in the days following the November 3 election.
On Friday, nine cases meant to attack Biden's win in key states were denied or dropped.......................

Trump campaign would be required to pay that $7.9 million recount cost in WI (if it happens)

Says it has to be paid before a recount begins. It is a drop in the bucket for Trump camp but since has to be paid beforehand, I do not think he will do the recount. But one never knows.

Trump Conceded To Biden Then Delusionally Retracted His Concession


Trump conceded that he lost to Joe Biden then took back the concession and falsely claimed that the election was rigged.

Trump doesn’t have a long way to go. He is 1-14 in the election lawsuits that he has filed. The lawsuit that he won does not change the outcome in Pennsylvania. States are already certifying their results. In a couple of weeks, final state certification will be in, and in less than a month, the electoral college will vote, and Joe Biden will officially be the president-elect.
