WATCH Donald Trump Slams Hillary Clinton for Taking Time Off the Trail for Adele Concert
Donald Trump today blasted his critics for complaining that he is tending to business matters rather than his presidential campaign, arguing that Hillary Clinton takes time off the trail for less important matters.
I built one of the great hotels of the world. What am I supposed to do, not show up? I'm taking one hour off. I'm going to North Carolina right after this, then I'm going back down to Florida. I'm going up to New Hampshire. I'm all over the place, Trump said in an exclusive interview with ABC News's George Stephanopoulos from inside his new Washington, D.C., hotel. I can't take one hour off to cut a ribbon at a one of the great hotels of the world? I mean, I think I'm entitled to it.
The Republican presidential candidate blasted Clinton for taking Tuesday night off to go to an Adele concert.
I think it's so unfair because, you know, Hillary Clinton goes to see an Adele concert last night, and everybody says, Oh, wasn't that nice. Isn't that wonderful? Trump said.
She goes, she does one stop, Trump told ABC News today, which is Clintons 69th birthday. She has no energy. She's got nothing going. She does one stop. And nobody complains about that. Nobody complains when she goes to an Adele concert all night long, while Im making two speeches at rallies with, you know, massive crowds.
Trump has repeatedly criticized what he calls Clintons lack of stamina, citing her decision to take five days off the campaign trail in the run-up to the last of three 2016 presidential debates. She argues that the preparation last week for her final major national audience before Election Day was time well spent. ..............................

Washington (CNN)With Hillary Clinton in the audience, singer Adele told her fans at a Miami concert Tuesday night not to vote for Donald Trump.
"Don't vote for him," the Grammy Award winner said on stage, according to a Clinton aide. "I can't vote but I am 100% for Hillary Clinton, I love her, she's amazing."
The British singer acknowledged that America's next leader will have global influence.
"I am English, but what happens in America affects me, too," Adele told the crowd.
The singer has made similar statements praising Clinton and criticizing the Republican nominee before on other stops of her tour, though never before with the Democratic presidential nominee in attendance.

Khizr Khan, the father of a U.S. Army captain killed in Iraq whose powerful speech to the Democratic National Convention in July upbraided Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, will campaign for Hillary Clinton on Wednesday at several events in Norfolk.
Khan, who waved a pocket Constitution during the speech that challenged Trumps anti-Muslim statements, will speak to military veterans in a city that is home to the worlds largest naval base. He also plans to appear at a mosque and at a Clinton volunteer event.
Khan, a Pakistani American lawyer who lives in Charlottesville, has appeared in an emotional television advertisement for Clinton, the Democratic nominee, and has made numerous appearances on television and in the news media. ......................

Khizr Khan is back. This ad, released by the Clinton campaign on Friday afternoon, features Khan telling his story again.
Hillary Clinton: 'Captain Khan' | Campaign 2016
Play Video1:00
It shows Khan walking through his home, looking at his son's medals and pictures. The 60-second ad ends with a close-up of a teary-eyed Khan saying this: I want to ask Mr. Trump: Would my son have a place in your America?
It's a remarkably powerful ad, connecting Trump's rhetoric on Muslims to the real pain that such a pledge would inflict on Muslim Americans. Real people would be affected by all of these proposals, the ad reminds us. It's not just words by Trump.
The ad, according to the Clinton campaign, will rotate into swing states, including Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania................

Millennials Flock To Hillary Clinton As The Democratic Nominee Is Outperforming Obama
By Jason Easley on Wed, Oct 26th, 2016 at 1:12 pm
Younger voters are flocking to Hillary Clinton as she is doing better than President Obama did in 2012 with key groups of millennials.
According to the Harvard IOP Fall 2016 Poll:
When likely voters were asked their preferences in a four-way match up, Clinton received 49% of the vote, compared to Trumps 21%, Johnsons 14%, and Steins 5%. 11% indicated that they were still undecided. In a two-way match-up between Clinton and Trump, Clinton received 59% to Trumps 25% among likely voters. Comparing these results to Obamas position in the Harvard IOP Fall 2012 survey, Clinton is performing better among female voters (+14), white voters (+12), and non-college voters (+10). And when compared to Mitt Romneys position in the same 2012 poll, Trump is underperforming by 17 percentage points among young Republicans.
Young voter turnout is looking like it will be same as 2012, as 49% of younger voters say they will definitely vote. This is up one point from 2012. There has been a six-point increase in the number of young females who say they will be voting (51%), an eight-point increase in young Hispanics who will vote (39%), a seven point in increase in young Independents who will vote (36%).
On the Republican side, there was a 9 point decrease in young Republicans who will vote (56%).

Hillary Clinton Gains Some Ground Among Young Voters, Poll Finds

Hillary Clinton has strengthened her position slightly among young voters, but she has struggled to take full advantage of Donald J. Trumps rising unpopularity, a new poll shows.
The poll, released on Wednesday by Harvards Institute of Politics, found that less than half of Americans ages 18 to 29 surveyed said they trusted Mrs. Clinton more than Mr. Trump to improve the economy, combat terrorism and reduce the impact of money in politics.
Still, Mrs. Clinton led Mr. Trump by 28 percentage points among likely voters in that age group. In a four-way race, 49 percent supported her; 21 percent supported Mr. Trump; 14 percent supported Gary Johnson, the Libertarian nominee; and 5 percent supported Jill Stein, the Green Party candidate.
..............................
However, John Della Volpe, the director of polling at the Institute of Politics, said Mrs. Clinton had made some gains since the summer because many millennials watched the presidential debates and liked how she handled Mr. Trump. He also said that Mr. Johnsons gaffes about Syria and world leaders had hurt his standing and that Mrs. Clinton had benefited from his troubles.
The combination of her performing better than expectations during the debates with Donald Trump, and Gary Johnson disappointing voters, has left her in a position where she has increased the number of people who view her favorably, Mr. Della Volpe said. But she still has progress to make if shes going to unite the most progressive wing of the party, moderates and even Republicans......................

Early voting so far looks very much like 2012, when the Democrats got off to a great start and never stopped building a lead. Update by Jon Ralston.
KTNV
UPDATED, 10/26/16, 10:30 AM
The latest SOS update shows a statewide raw vote lead of 23,874 for the Democrats. (It was 21,000 in 2012 at this time, but there are 200,000 more voters, so very close in percentages.) The percentages are 46-35. So Democrats are almost 7 points above their registration, and Republicans are 2 points above. This is why registration matters, and why that huge Democratic push at the end of registration, including getting that extension of time after warning the SOS, mattered so much.
What to watch:
--Enthusiasm gap seems obvious so far. This will kill down-ballot Republicans if it continues.
--GOP candidates will need indies to win, and they will need them big league. No evidence they are getting them.
--Hispanic turnout seems high so far in key precincts.
--The Washoe numbers are key, and Dems doing well there. Its no accident major GOP surrogates have been going there Graham, McCain, Pence. They know.......................

Early voting stats offer hints of good news for Clinton in Arizona, Nevada and Florida
The statistics show Trump is outperforming Mitt Romney in Iowa and Ohio
Washington (CNN)Hillary Clinton's campaign has reason for optimism in several swing states -- and appears to have turned Arizona into a battleground -- as millions of Americans vote early.
More than 7.3 million Americans have already voted. Democrats have improved their positions in North Carolina, Nevada and Arizona compared to this point in 2012, according to a CNN analysis of the latest early voting statistics.
Republicans, meanwhile, have good news in Iowa. Republicans have improved their position there over 2012 -- backing up the polls which suggest it could be the easiest state won by President Barack Obama for Trump to flip this year.
And in Florida, where the latest comparable data comes from 2008, Democrats -- buoyed by an increasingly diverse electorate -- have cut deeply into the traditional Republican advantage in early ballots cast so far.
These findings represent absentee ballots submitted and early votes cast through Tuesday across 35 states where data are available. Catalist, a data company that works with progressive candidates and advocacy groups, academics and think tanks, connects the data to voter records, allowing a deeper look at who has already cast a vote in this year's election...................................
