Sanders Says Clinton Comments in Leaked Audio 'Absolutely Correct'

WATCH Bernie Sanders Says Clinton Comments in Leaked Audio 'Absolutely Correct'

Bernie Sanders told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos that Hillary Clinton was “absolutely correct” when she said many of his supporters were living in their parents’ basements and struggling to find jobs.

“During the campaign we had our differences, but what she was saying there was absolutely correct,” Sanders said during an interview Sunday morning in response to the newly leaked audio of Clinton talking about Sanders’ supporters during a private fundraiser in February.

“You have millions of young people, many of whom took out loans in order to go to college, hoping to go out and get decent-paying jobs and they are unable to do that,” said Sanders, who endorsed Clinton two months ago. “And yes, they do want a political revolution. They want to transform this society.”

The interview on ABC’s “This Week” was Sanders’ first response to the audio that was trending on social media over the weekend, although some of his staff had taken to Twitter to defend Clinton.

Trump is back on Twitter after his Saturday night meltdown--he tweeted this a few hours ago.
But Bernie was on abc today. Tweep loves to use Bernie for his own purposes.
Donald should read what Sanders said but probably will not make any difference.

Bernie should pull his endorsement of Crooked Hillary after she decieved him and then attacked him and his supporters.

A Federal Court Orders Wisconsin to Stop Suppressing the Vote

The state must investigate the DMV’s failure to issue voter IDs in time for the November election.

On Wednesday, The Nation published an exclusive story showing how the DMV in Wisconsin was systematically failing to provide the voter IDs required to cast a ballot this election. We told the story of two African-American voters, Zack Moore and Claudell Boyd, who brought multiple documents with them to the DMV confirming their identities but were still turned away without the necessary voter ID. Recordings from the DMV provided to The Nation detailed how Moore and Boyd were not offered certificates for voting within six business days, as required by Wisconsin law.

Today federal district court Judge James Peterson ordered the state to investigate the DMV and the voter-ID process. “Recent news stories in Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and The Nation have reported that DMV personnel have provided incorrect information to persons who have applied for Wisconsin IDs for voting,” Peterson wrote. “These reports, if true, demonstrate that the state is not in compliance with this court’s injunction order, which requires the state to ‘[p]romptly issue a credential valid as a voting ID to any person who enters the IDPP or who has a petition pending.’”

He ordered the state to report back to the court by October 7. “The report should explain the scope of the investigation, its results, and any corrective action to be taken,” Peterson wrote.

This is significant because 300,000 registered voters do not have a valid voter ID, 9 percent of the electorate, and many are still struggling to obtain one. The US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit upheld Wisconsin’s voter-ID law based on the premise that the state would make IDs accessible to every eligible voter—which it is clearly not doing. .....................

The GOP presidential nominee is out on the trail ahead of the general election in November.

Republican leaders and strategists are unnerved by Donald Trump’s erratic attacks on a Latina beauty queen and other outbursts this week, increasingly fearful that the GOP nominee is damaging his White House hopes and doing lasting harm to the party in the campaign’s final stretch.

Party officials said they are newly embarrassed by Trump’s impulsive behavior and exasperated by his inability to concentrate on his change message and frame the race as a referendum on Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, according to interviews with more than two dozen of them.

Senate and House candidates are ducking questions about Trump and distancing themselves, while Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has refused to talk about him. And few elected leaders are counseling him.

At an intimate fundraiser Wednesday for Rep. Joseph J. Heck (R-Nev.), who is running for the Senate, McConnell asked the group of about a dozen supporters how many of them think Trump can win. About half of the attendees raised their hands. But when McConnell then asked how many thought Trump would win, no hands went up, and the room fell silent, according to a person familiar with the scene who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss a closed event......................................

Hillary Clinton’s campaign plane erupted in a wave of applause as she boarded the flight, hours after her first presidential debate encounter with Donald Trump.

Staffers who have been on the trail with her for the past year crowded the private front cabin as the crew prepared for take off to Raleigh, North Carolina, 12 hours after she had left the stage where she had needled and trapped Trump before a record television audience the night befo...................................

....................“Did anybody see that debate last night? Oh, yes,” Clinton said as she mounted the stage at a community college in Raleigh. “One down, two to go!”

Two scoreboards at both ends of the gymnasium were frozen on the number 45, and the clock stopped at 20.16, optimistically pointing toward Clinton becoming the 45th president of the United States after election day in November.

Hillary Clinton: ‘Who Gets Up at 3 in the Morning to Engage in a Twitter Attack?’

Source: Time.com

Philip Elliott @Philip_Elliott

4:43 PM ET

Hillary Clinton savaged rival Donald Trump for his weeklong spat with a former beauty pageant contestant, telling an audience in Coral Springs, Florida, that his early-morning rant on Twitter should worry voters.

Trump blasted off a series of tweets about former Miss Universe Alicia Machado, suggesting she had a sex tape and became a citizen only with Clinton’s help. He also called Machado “disgusting” in a series of online messages sent at 3:20 a.m., 5:14 a.m., 5:19 a.m., and 5:30 a.m. The bizarre detour from the presidential campaign toward a beauty queen’s past was plum for Clinton’s mockery.

“I mean, really? Who gets up at 3 in the morning to engage in a Twitter attack against the former Miss Universe? I mean, he hurled as many insults as he could. Really. Why does she do things like that?” Clinton said.
...............

Clinton pushed forward. “His latest Twitter meltdown is unhinged, even for him. It proves yet again that he is temperamentally unfit to be President and Commander in Chief,” she said. “I have said it before and I’ll say it again: A man who can be provoked by a tweet should never be anywhere near the nuclear codes.”

Hillary Clinton's chances of being elected president skyrocket

Source: aol.com

Sep 30th 2016 5:28PM

Many post-debate public opinion polls suggested that Hillary Clinton likely beat Donald Trump in their first face-off, and now that appears to be having an impact on election projections.
.......................

Predictions coming from Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight show Clinton's chances of winning the presidency at 64.8 percent, as opposed to Trump's 35.2 percent -- that's according to his "polls plus" prediction.

If the election were taking place immediately, the data suggests that the former Secretary of State is more likely to win the presidency by a 3 to 1 margin.
.................................

FiveThirtyEight projects Clinton will win 291 electoral votes come November, with Trump just shy of 247. A candidate must win 270 electoral votes in order to become the next president. ..........................
