As we are still reeling from the revelation that the US Secret Service deleted text messages from on and around January 6, 2021, contrary to legal and regulatory requirements that the be preserved, and AFTER there had been a preservation request made by the January 6 House select committee, the Washington Post has now reported that the J6 texts of Donald Trump's former acting Department of Homeland security secretary Chad Wolf and acting deputy secretary Ken Cuccinelli have vanished as well.
These texts may be retrievable and they may not be. But, as the old saying goes, there's more than one way to skin a cat.
This video discusses how the J6 committee and the federal prosecutors investigating the insurrection should proceed. Spoiler alert: it involves a flood of subpoenas.
