PRESS RELEASE
Sanders Campaign Statement
JUNE 6, 2016
SAN FRANCISCO U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders spokesman, Michael Briggs, on Monday issued the following statement:
It is unfortunate that the media, in a rush to judgement, are ignoring the Democratic National Committees clear statement that it is wrong to count the votes of superdelegates before they actually vote at the convention this summer.
Secretary Clinton does not have and will not have the requisite number of pledged delegates to secure the nomination. She will be dependent on superdelegates who do not vote until July 25 and who can change their minds between now and then. They include more than 400 superdelegates who endorsed Secretary Clinton 10 months before the first caucuses and primaries and long before any other candidate was in the race.
Our job from now until the convention is to convince those superdelegates that Bernie is by far the strongest candidate against Donald Trump.

JW Releases Clinton Email DEPOSITION Testimony of Amb. Stephen Mull, Frm.Exe. SoS Dept.
(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch today released the deposition transcript of Ambassador Stephen D. Mull, executive secretary of the State Department from June 2010 to October 2012, who suggested that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton be issued a State Department BlackBerry, which would protect her identity and would also be subject to FOIA requests. The Mull transcript is available here. Amb. Mull now serves as the State Departments lead coordinator for Iran nuclear implementation.
Amb. Mulls testimony and other discovery arises in a Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit that seeks records about the controversial employment status of Huma Abedin, former deputy chief of staff to Clinton. The lawsuit was reopened because of revelations about the clintonemail.com system. (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:13-cv-01363)). Judge Sullivan ordered that all deposition transcripts be made publicly available.
Mull is among seven depositions of former Clinton top aides and State Department officials that Judicial Watch has scheduled over the next three weeks. The next witness is a State Department official designated by the agency, (30(b)(6)), who will testify Wednesday, June 8.
Former State IT employee Bryan Pagliano had been scheduled to testify today, June 6, but will be rescheduled pending further order of Judge Sullivan who ruled Friday that Pagliano must provide to the court his reported immunity agreement and the legal basis for making Fifth Amendment claims.
Huma Abedin is scheduled to testify on June 28, and top State Department official Patrick Kennedy on June 29.

While Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton has publicly reversed her position on the controversial Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), it remains unknown how much she helped advance, or even craft, the international trade deal while serving as U.S. Secretary of Stateand the Obama administration appears interested in keeping it that way. On Monday, International Business Times (IBT) senior editor David Sirota reported that the State Department is refusing to release correspondence between Clinton's State Department office and the United States Trade Representative related to the TPP until after the 2016 presidential election.
After initially saying that the requested materials would be made available in April, a U.S. State Department representative "abruptly" told Sirota last week, "Our office was recently informed that the search process has been completed and that the information located from that search is currently being prepared for the review process. The new estimated completion date for your request is November 31, 2016." At the intersection of the 2016 presidential contest, Clinton's ongoing email scandal, and the contentious TPP negotiations, the contents of these emails are considered to be of public interest.
As Sirota notes, "IBTs request was designed to provide a comprehensive view of how involved Clinton and her top aides were in shaping the trade agreement, and whether her agency had a hand in crafting any particular provisions in the pact." He further notes that "the delay was issued in the same week the Obama administration filed a court motion to try to kill a lawsuit aimed at forcing the federal government to more quickly comply with open records requests for Clinton-era State Department documents."
This is not the only query related to Clinton's emails that the State Department has suspiciously postponed until after the election. VICE News journalist Jason Koebler wrote last month that the "estimated completion time" for his request of "communications, presentations, and procedures created by the State Department to secure Hillary Clintons email from electronic threats" was moved from January 2015 to December 2016. Given that the initial FOIA request was made by the IBT in July 2015, even if the delay itself isn't "politically motivated," Nate Jones of the National Security Archive, a nonprofit investigative journalism center based at George Washington University, told Sirota that it reflects a systemic problem.
"In my opinion it is more incompetence than maliciousness, but either way, it is a gross error by FOIA processors to not get these documents out before the election," Jones said. "Their inefficiency is doing great harm to the democratic process."

2008 Hillary Clinton REFUSES To Concede The Nomination
Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton Tuesday refused to bow out of the Democratic race Tuesday, hoping to maintain leverage as Barack Obama clinched the delegates needed to secure the party's nomination. Clinton told supporters in a rally at Baruch College that she would consult party leaders in coming days on how to move forward, but that, "I will be making no decisions tonight."
"A lot of people are asking, 'What does Hillary want?'" Clinton said. "I want what I have always fought for: I want the nearly 18 million people who voted for me to be respected and heard."
-snip
Advisers indicated earlier Tuesday that the former first lady would publicly acknowledge in her speech that Obama had crossed the delegate threshold. But she changed her mind and refused to do so even after NBC News and The Associated Press declared the Illinois senator had sealed the nomination.
Her advisers said they considered the delegate numbers to be unreliable, even as the AP estimated Obama had several more than the 2,118 needed to nominate. Earlier, Clinton acknowledged on a conference call with New York lawmakers that the delegate math was not there for her to overtake Obama, according to several participants on the call. I am so proud we stayed the course together, she said to cheers. I am committed to uniting our party so we move forward stronger and more ready than ever to take back the White House this November.
But she emphasized that she had won more votes in primaries and caucuses than Obama, and she refused to say she was ending her campaign.
Aides said that was a strategic decision to preserve her leverage to negotiate over policy disagreements and the possibility that she would join Obamas ticket as the vice presidential nominee.

Sanders Campaign Statement on Puerto Rico Polling Places
JUNE 5TH, 2016
SAN DIEGO U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders campaign issued the following statement Sunday on long lines at polling places in Puerto Ricos Democratic Party presidential primary election:
Some Puerto Rico Democratic officials are claiming that the Sanders campaign requested fewer polling places in todays primary contest. Thats completely false. The opposite is true. In emails with the party, Sanders staff asked the party to maintain the 1,500 plus presidential primary locations promised by the Puerto Rico Democratic party in testimony before the DNC in April, when the party was asking to have its caucus changed to a primary. They cannot blame their shoddy running of the primary on our campaign. This is just one example of irregularities going on in Puerto Rico voting today. We are the campaign that has been fighting to increase voter participation.

There is a new book that is already a No. 1 best-selling book on Amazon prior to the book even being released. Titled Crisis of Character: A White House Secret Service Officer Discloses His Firsthand Experience with Hillary, Bill, and How They Operate, the book written by Gary J. Byrne is gaining big buzz. Because of Garys close proximity to the Clintons during some of their most volatile days in the White House, Byrnes testimony of his experiences with Bill and Hillary are being closely followed.
Over a twenty-nine-year career serving my country in the military and in federal law enforcement, Ive encountered both heroes and villains. Ive observed human character at its greatest heights and lowest depths. In any organization, character is defined at the top; it percolates down to the top executives of an organization, to the middle managers, and to the grunts at the front lines. Hillary Clinton is now poised to become the Democratic nominee for president of the United States, but she simply lacks the integrity and temperament to serve in the office. From the bottom of my soul I know this to be true.
Gary writes that the Clintons were more interested in doing away with forthcoming books and articles that painted them in a negative light than in performing their real business duties of running the country. With harrowing accusations included in Byrnes book, it is one that the Clintons likely dont look forward to being released on June 28.
The First Couple wasted days obsessing over how to kill a forthcoming book (one alleging that Bill Clintons mother ran a brothel) or in squashing yet another tabloid revelation. Their machinations and their constant damage control diverted them from the nations real business.
Byrne wrote that he has no animosity towards Bill and Hillary. Gary even claimed that his sense of loyalty ran so deep for the Clintons that he got rid of evidence that could have been used to convict President Clinton during his adulterous days with Monica Lewinsky. As reported by the Daily Mail, Byrne revealed that he was uncomfortable with Monicas level of access to the West Wing in the White House during the evening hours when she should not have been there.
The blue dress wasnt the only evidence of his misdeeds.
Now retired from public service, Byrne is no longer holding all the deep secrets he kept for the former First Family close to the bone. They were secrets that, as Gary wrote, sent him home to his own wife, Genny, to give her deep hugs and profess how happy he was that they werent like the Clintons.
