Dementia warning....some of you are in real trouble...

Woman sues Microsoft over Windows 10 ...and wins $10,000. !

A few days after Microsoft released Windows 10 to the public last year, Teri Goldstein’s computer started trying to download and install the new operating system.

The update, which she says she didn’t authorize, failed. Instead, the computer she uses to run her Sausalito, Calif., travel-agency business slowed to a crawl. It would crash, she says, and be unusable for days at a time.

“I had never heard of Windows 10,” Goldstein said. “Nobody ever asked me if I wanted to update.”

When outreach to Microsoft’s customer support didn’t fix the issue, Goldstein took the software giant to court, seeking compensation for lost wages and the cost of a new computer.

She won. Last month, Microsoft dropped an appeal and Goldstein collected a $10,000 judgment from the company.

"Make America White Again" campaign billboard

from an independent running for Congress in Tenn.

Rick Tyler confirmed to the station that he put up the billboard, which also lists the address for his campaign website. Tyler told WRCB that he does not hate people of color, but does believe America "should go back to the 1960s."

"The) Leave it to Beaver time when there were no break-ins; no violent crime; no mass immigration," he told the news station.

Tyler also posted a billboard for his campaign that features part of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "I Have A Dream" speech superimposed on a drawing of the White House with Confederate flags around it, according to WRCB.

France will allow thousands of Calais refugees to cross Channel if UK votes for Brexit,

Wow......that is truly a BIG threat.

Emmanuel Macron said France could exit the 'Touquet' agreement that currently allows British immigration checks in Calais and Dunkirk.
“The day this relationship unravels, migrants will no longer be in Calais,” he said.

Current regulations mean that entry to the UK can be refused before entering the Channel Tunnel or boarding ferries, rather than once passengers exit on British soil the other side

.Moving the Border Force checks to the UK could mean that refugees would be the other side of the Channel before being discovered, giving them the right to apply for asylum and stay in the country until a decision is made.

Importer recalls fish from Vietnam that went to Aldi stores

Almost 26,000 pounds of Sea Queen brand Swai fillets from Vietnam are being recalled because they were distributed in the U.S. without having met federal inspection requirements for residues.

This is a health hazard situation where there is a reasonable probability that the use of the product
will cause serious, adverse health consequences or death,
according to the recall notice.

The recall notice does not include complete distribution details, but does state the recalled fish was sent to Aldi distribution centers in Connecticut, Georgia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Tennessee. It was not disclosed what stores those centers serve. Dates of distribution also were not provided.

Consumers can identify the recalled skinless and boneless Sea Queen brand “Swai Fillet” products, which were produced and packed on March 30 in Vietnam by Golden Quality Seafood Corp., by the following packaging information:

Two-pound packages containing individually wrapped pieces of fish;
Plant number FN1158;
Lot number SW1601-02-16090; and
Best-by date of March 30, 2018.
