Could the NSA be taken under the FBI's wing?

If they're going to be operating domestically, it would be more appropriate, wouldn't it?

The FBI already have an IT directorate.

Could the NSA actually be morphed into something useful?

Something that works for the American people rather than against them?

Perhaps they could be a data retreival service.

Perhaps they could track down the phone number of that long-lost relative.

Perhaps they could help in locating missing people?

They certainly need an image makeover.

I don't see how it benefits the Right to encourage left wing oppostion to their programme.

They started all this crap. It is not clear to me why they would expose a programme they put a great deal of effort into simply to unseat a politician. Politicians come and go, legislature does not.

I do not regard the "it's an anti-Obama plot" as at all credible.
