madamesilverspurs's JournalHuckabee-Sanders said WHAT???
Sarah Huckabee-Sanders just sniped that the mayor of San Juan needs to spend time actually helping rather than making political comments.
She really fucking said that.

Hey, Senator: Why don't you take that gun lobby money and shove it...
where it can do some real good.
I just called Senator Cory Gardner's office and left a message suggesting that he use the $4million he's taken from the gun lobby and use it as seed money for a fund to cover victims' hospital expenses.

Is this legit?
So this happened. And the white text box completely blocks the text in the red field that claims to be from Microsoft, and the white box can't be moved or deleted in order to read what's behind it. I just opened things in a new window, but this thing is still lurking in the background, along with all the site tabs.
Any suggestions for how to proceed?
And thanks. Again!
UPDATE: Discovered that it came with a screechy yowl; tried to watch a music video and turned on the volume, yikes! Went to Task Manager, clicked on Edge. Took a few attempts, but it finally did the trick. Thing is GONE! Until next time, anyway...

Blood money
Remember -- in the days following the bloodbath at the Aurora theater, there was a gathering to memorialize the victims. On the same day, at the same hour, super asshole Dudley Brown (owner of Rocky Mountain Gun Owners) staged his own event right across the street from the memorial gathering.
Well, he's back, determined to claim his bucket of blood. You can read about it here:

There are some people who are bent on poisoning the human spirit; he's one of them.

A memory refreshed
My brother and his high school buddies liked to ride their bicycles up into the foothills west of Denver and go exploring. On one such bike hike they wound up climbing around above Red Rocks. They came upon a small alcove in the rock face and went inside and were amazed to find, propped up against the wall, a rifle. Their amazement became alarm because looking down from that alcove they had a clear view of the amphitheaters stage and audience seating area. They took the rifle and turned it in to the sheriffs office; and, yes, the sheriff shared their alarm. That was in 1962, but the chill still resonates in memory.
