Romney needs a "bombastic" VP announcement to divert attention away from Bain..

My guess:.....Liz Cheney. The old man would love her foot in that door and this would certainly get the attention away from all of this horrid Bain news. Whatcha think?

I notice Willy Geist and Joey the Scar are "calling it in" to MoJoe for the past few

days. Are they permanently going to be with NBC or are they covering vacationing people? Willy hasn't been on his show for quite a while but does make the NBC appearances. Not that it's important, just curious really.

Don't think because it's summer that people are not engaged in the Presidential run.

My younger "Florida Son" is in Jersey until September (golf and the beach)..He has little or no interest in politics, which drives me up a wall, he works hard in Florida during the winter to afford these few months off and is subject to so much in question. Anyway, he calls me today and tells me his news, is calling from the beach and says "HA Mom, was just talking about you. The gang here is doing nothing but talking politics and what a mess Romney is and did you see Obama speechifying in the rain?" "Too bad you're not here Mom, you would have loved it." Indeed.

Wasserman Schultz rejects comparison to Romney on releasing tax returns

HOLLYWOOD — While blasting Mitt Romney for not releasing years of income tax returns, Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz is rejecting an opponent’s call to release her own tax returns.

Wasserman Schultz, a congresswoman from Broward County, has been accused of hypocrisy by many Republicans. But she defended her position before Saturday night’s Florida Democratic Party Jefferson-Jackson fundraising dinner at the Westin Diplomat Hotel.

Republican congressional candidate Karen Harrington has repeatedly challenged Wasserman Schultz to release her tax returns, but Wasserman Schultz said the annual financial disclosure forms she fills out are sufficient.

“I’m fully compliant as a member of Congress in filing the financial disclosure that the law requires. Mitt Romney is running for President,” she said.

A Golfer accidentally overturned his cart.

Elizabeth, a "beautiful" real golfer who lived in a villa on the
golf course heard the noise and yelled over to him.


"Hey, are you okay, what's your name?"
"Willis," he replied.

"Willis forget your troubles. Come to my villa,
rest up and I'll help you get the cart up later."

"That's mighty nice of you," Willis answered,
"but I don't think my wife would like it."

"Aw come on," Elizabeth insisted.
She was very pretty and persuasive.
"Well okay," Willis finally agreed,
And added, "but my wife won't like it."

After a hearty drink AND sexy driving and putting lessons, Willis thanked his host.
"I feel a lot better now, but I know my wife is going to be real upset."

"Don't be foolish!” Elizabeth said with a smile , she wont know any thing. By the way, where is she?"

"Under the cart!"

The Community Organizer vs. The Businessman

It used to tick me off with the derisive tone used to describe POTUS as "just a Community Organizer." When you compare the two men however, it would appear "The Businessman" doesn't know what the hell he's doing and is in way over his head. The Organizer has one of the best political campaigns and staff I've ever seen and I've been around for a few years. When it comes down to getting to the point, attempting to please and satisfy as many Americans as is possible, the Organizer is almost always right on the mark.

The Businessman is a blusterer, a liar, a person that gives used-car salesmen a bad rep. His ego is off the charts and demeans us because he doesn't think we know anything or can analyze promises or policies. Sorry Mitt, I'll take the Community Organizer any day, he cares about the Community.....You don't..

Sage Stallone Dead: Sylvester Stallone's Son Dies At 36

Sage Stallone, son of actor Sylvester Stallone, has been found dead, The New York Post and TMZ report.

The junior Stallone was reportedly found at home in Los Angeles. TMZ reports that his father is extremely distraught. The Post spoke with Sage Moonblood Stallone's attorney, who said the death came as a complete shock.

"He was in good spirits, and working on all kinds of projects,” George Braunstein told the paper. “He was planning on getting married. I am just devastated. He was an extremely wonderful, loving guy. This is a tragedy.”

TMZ's sources say the cause of death was a prescription drug overdose.

The Post reports that his mother, Sasha Czack, had also been notified of her son's passing. Stallone made his acting debut alongside his father in "Rocky V." He went on to act in a number of films, most recently in "Promises Written in Water" in 2010 (he also appeared in "The Agent," a short, and in a 2011 television documentary episode on the Rocky films).

I would be outraged if Laura Bush had been threatened by a DC cop, and I mean that.

This verbal threat concerning Mrs. Obama is being treated far too cavalierly for my taste. This guy needs to be fired right now, pension or whatever benefits he had should be gone. Why is there not more outrage about this? I'm thinking it's time for some form of media blitz to get people off their a$$es and get moving somehow. You know the President has to be furious about this, is there any tv coverage? My tv is off until Martin..

Will this Romney possible felony matter be discussed on the Sunday Morning chat shows? It

would be so interesting to listen to the repubs defending/criticising, etc. It would also indicate whether this story really has legs. My fear of course is that the subject will not even be mentioned. If that is the case we really need to e-mail blitz the media for their lack of news coverage. My only hope would be that HBOs marvelous new show will cover it in an upcoming episode.
