DeSwiss's JournalFiled under-It won't be long now: ''Quadruple Backflip (No.16)''
As you can imagine, once this quadruple back-flip technology is wedded with the larger robotics versions (Asimo & HPR-4 & NAO), the drones, the NSA computers and the next CEO that the MIC picks for us, then Skynet's infrastructure blueprint will have been established.
- Clearly the best future jobs will be in security and robot maintenance. For a while.....
2 Years After Nuclear Disaster, Japan Spawns Freaky Fruits And Veggies
1 day ago
It might be wise to steer clear of vegetables from Japan's Fukushima area for, oh, say a few hundred years. A Korean website assembled this image collection of produce from towns and villages surrounding the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. And they are NOT pretty pictures. From Siamese-twinned corn cobs to what can only be called peaches with elephantiasis, the region's agriculture appears to have taken a heavy radiation hit from the nuclear disaster in 2011. It's not clear yet what effect eating the produce might have on the population, but you never know. It could be pretty dangerous, but you never know in an ideal world, maybe it could give you superpowers. {Source} {Source}

''Furthermore, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and public health experts do not recommend that people in the United States take precautionary measures beyond staying informed. And going forward, we will continue to keep the American people fully updated because I believe that you must know what I know as President.'' - ~President Barack Obama, March 17, 2011

''U.S. experts continue to support Japans ongoing efforts to deal with the challenges associated with Fukushima.'' ~President Barack Obama, March 9, 2012

So I guess since the WH didn't have an anniversary statement this year (I hadn't heard of it nor found one online), we know as much as the President knows -- like he said he'd keep us informed. Of course, I know he's been extraordinarily distracted lately, rooting out the traitors and spies who steal information that doesn't belong to them.
- Still, I'm gonna highly recommend that you steer clear of any fruit or vegetable that has more arms or legs than you do......
Breaking Bread: Most Gitmo hunger strikers begin to eat
RussiaToday·Published on Jul 13, 2013
US officials claim most of the hunger-striking detainees at Guantanamo Bay have eaten a meal - for the first time since their protest began more than five months ago. But lawyers for the captives say that doesn't mean the strike's going to end. 45 prisoners are still being force-fed, in what a US federal judge has slammed as a 'painful, humiliating and degrading process.'
Boeing 787 Dreamliner Fire at Heathrow
NTDTV·Published on Jul 13, 2013
Only months after being returned to service, one of Boeing's 787 Dreamliner planes at London's Heathrow Airport caught fire.
Full story:
A fresh blow for U.S. planemaker Boeing: one of its 787 Dreamliners operated by Ethiopian Airlines caught fire at Britain's Heathrow Airport, Friday.
Television footage showed an area on the fuselage that appeared to be scorched. Heathrow briefly closed both its runways to tame the fire, which broke out while the plane was parked at a remote stand. No passengers were aboard.
The latest incident comes only months after the Dreamliner returned to service. Boeing was forced to ground the new planes in January after batteries caught fire on two of its jets in a span of two weeks. Federal regulators approved the Dreamliner's return to service in April.
Boeing said that it had people on the ground working to understand the cause of fire, while the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration said it was in contact with Boeing.
The Dreamliner, considered to be a game changer for Boeing, was being closely watched to see if it could fly incident free. It has faced nearly a decade of development, billions of dollars in overruns and three years of delays.

Edward Snowden says his asylum status is now official as he accepts all offers made to him. "No state has a basis by which to limit or interfere with my right to enjoy that asylum," he said in the statement published by WikiLeaks.
I announce today my formal acceptance of all offers of support or asylum I have been extended and all others that may be offered in the future, Snowden stated on Friday during his meeting with rights activists and lawyers at Moscows Sheremetyevo Airport.
With, for example, the grant of asylum provided by Venezuelas President Maduro, my asylee status is now formal, his address reads. Snowden also said that he is going to seek asylum in Russia, since he cannot fly to Latin America yet. The whistleblower is set to submit his bid on Friday and hopes it will be accepted favorably.
I ask for your assistance in requesting guarantees of safe passage from the relevant nations in securing my travel to Latin America, as well as requesting asylum in Russia until such time as these states accede to law and my legal travel is permitted, he told the meeting, attended by some 13 representatives of rights organizations.
