Is Raw Story considered a credible source?

I found this on their site:

FLASHBACK: Trump’s charity donated to James O’Keefe’s right-wing ‘sting’ organization

In 2015, The Trump foundation donated to James O’Keefe right-wing organization Project Veritas, which is known for conducting sting operations on left-leaning groups, the Washington Post’s David Farenthold reports.

The $10,000 donation was provided by Trump’s namesake charity after Project Veritas “[pitched] Trump on their work,” according to Farenthold. As Newsweek notes, that donation helped fund O’Keefe’s videos, including one alleging protestors at Trump’s rallies were paid $1,500 by Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

The biggest turkey deals of 2017

Thanksgiving is rapidly approaching. So what better time is there to talk about the turkey deals of 2017?

This has been a banner year for turkeys — there's an unusually large flock of them, even though I've decided to carve President Trump out of the list. Otherwise, I'd be falling into the trap of making everything about him and not paying enough attention to other things. That's a mistake far too many people are making.

Ready to gobble up my choices? Some of them are mine, some from friends and colleagues. Let the roast begin.

Equifax: What can I say? Here's a company that gathers tons of information about you without seeking your permission, sells it to Lord only knows whom without your permission, then is so incompetent that the information gets hacked. To protect yourself from possible damage that Equifax has done to you, you've got to shell out money to its competitors and possibly to Equifax itself. Thanks, guys. You're a credit to capitalism. (Yes, the pun's intentional.)

It's tit for tat between McConnell and Moore. This could be fun.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell believes the allegations against Alabama Republican Senate nominee Roy Moore and that Moore should leave the race, the Kentucky Republican said Monday.

"I believe the women, yes," McConnell told reporters in Kentucky.
McConnell, the Senate's top Republican and a frequent target of Moore on the campaign trail, said, "I think he should step aside."

Trump Judicial Pick Did Not Disclose He Is Married to a White House Lawyer

WASHINGTON — One of President Trump’s most controversial judicial nominees did not disclose on publicly available congressional documents that he is married to a senior lawyer in the White House Counsel’s Office.

The nominee, Brett J. Talley, is awaiting a Senate confirmation vote that could come as early as Monday to become a federal district judge in Alabama. He is married to Ann Donaldson, the chief of staff to the White House counsel, Donald F. McGahn II.

Mr. Talley was asked on his publicly released Senate questionnaire to identify family members and others who are “likely to present potential conflicts of interest.” He did not mention his wife.

-------

Mr. Talley also did not mention his wife when he described his frequent contact with White House lawyers during the nomination process.

This nominee also received a "not qualified" rating from the American Bar Association, has never tried a case, but his nomination still advanced through the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday on a party-line vote.

Drain the swamp, indeed.

I've been thinking a lot about Roy Moore's statement about asking permission

of the mother before dating those teen aged girls. Why didn't he ask their fathers? Did he know that he would likely get an ass kicking? Or did he prey on young girls who had no father figure in the home?

Mueller probing alleged Flynn plan to deliver cleric to Turkey: WSJ

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Special counsel Robert Mueller is investigating whether U.S. President Donald Trump’s first national security adviser, Michael Flynn, was involved in an alleged plan to seize a Muslim cleric and deliver him to Turkey in exchange for millions of dollars, the Wall Street Journal reported on Friday.

Under the plan, Flynn, who was fired by Trump after just 24 days in the job, and his son, Michael Flynn Jr, were to receive up to $15 million for forcibly removing Fethullah Gulen from his U.S. home and delivering him to the Turkish government, people familiar with the investigation told the Journal.

The alleged plan emerged during Mueller’s wider investigation of possible Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and any collusion by the Trump campaign.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan accuses Gulen of instigating a failed coup in July 2016 and wants him extradited to Turkey to face trial. Gulen has denied any role in the coup.

The Glorious Anger of Female Voters, One Year Later

This time last year, I was still hopeful.

This time last year, I was naïve.

As recently as the morning of November 8, 2016, I believed, as I think many American women did, that if we only played by the rules, we could rise to the highest positions of power.

There were still a lot of rules for women, of course. Anyone could see that. The rules became more rigid the more power you wanted. You couldn’t smile too little, or too much. Your voice could not be too high, lest you seem shrill. It couldn’t be too husky lest you seem masculine. You could not be overweight, or, for that matter, pretty in a way that was too obvious. Your hair… well, your hair and makeup would need to be done each day, or people would say you looked sick, and that would take hours. You needed to never appear angry, or, in the least, inconvenienced.

Great article. It really says what many of us are feeling.
