The debate thats currently raging about whether corporate media coverage of Biden is overly negative takes on even greater significance when you consider how the entire Republican strategy in the coming years will be to throw brickbats at him from behind a tree.
Bidens shortcomings are certainly newsworthy. But paying a little more attention to whos behind the tree, and what their intentions really are, is essential journalism.
Voting Republican, in this day and age, is not a simple protest vote. Its a vote that carries unprecedented consequences. Political reporters should be telling voters about those consequences, and then asking if thats what they really want.
The rest is TOTALLY worth a read:

Brilliant Froomkin: What does the Republican Party stand for besides 'let's go Brandon'?
...I think voters should know what theyre voting for, not just what theyre voting against. And if Republicans themselves wont tell the voters about their agenda, then its incumbent on political journalists to do it for them.........

Rep. Eric Swalwell ftw today.

Wondering how @politico thinks its responsible or ethical journalism to publish attorney-client privileged documents.
They admit they are the first to publish in their entirety the two Ellis memos, which both have the banner ATTORNEY-CLIENT PRIVILEGED.
Trump hatred persists.

When you're trying to get a preliminary injunction, and the court leads with this, you know you're in trouble.
Trump had to meet each of these elements: Screenshot #1.
Here's what the court said: Screenshot #2
He needed to show all 4.

TFG Is Having Another Bad Day "He hasn't merely lost, he really most sincerely lost"
We have a decision in Trump's appeal of the trial court's refusal to grant him a preliminary injunction to keep the White House records out of the hands of the select committee.
I'm reading it now.
Spoiler: He didn't break his losing streak.
