Trump on Nancy Reagan: 'She was never very beautiful' In a 2004 interview,

This will certainly finish Trump off. No real Republican will stand by and allow Nancy to be trashed like this:

“Do you like her?” Trump asked, taking control of the direction of the conversation.
“I did. I do like her. I think she’s …”
“You know,” Trump said, “I respect that she was so loyal.”
“She’s, I don’t think she was terribly smart,” Smith said. “She’s not a smart person.”
“I never heard that statement that you didn’t think she was that smart,” Trump said.
“I don’t believe she’s very smart.”
“That’s very interesting,” Trump said.
“She had really trivial …”
“She was never very beautiful,” Trump said. “That’s for sure.”
“No, she wasn’t great,” Smith said. “She was pretty. But not great.”
President Reagan, on the other hand, Trump said, “was truly a handsome man.”

Member Of Notorious Anti-Gay Church Won’t Back Trump Because He’s Too ‘Fringe’

WICHITA, Kan. — A member of the infamous anti-gay Westboro Baptist Church who was protesting outside of the GOP caucus sight here Saturday morning says she’s not sure who she will support for president but that she won’t be backing Donald Trump.

“He’s sort of fringe,” Lee Ann Phelps told The Daily Caller of the Republican front-runner during a small protest outside of the caucus site in downtown Wichita.

Phelps herself was carrying a sign reading “Wicked Leaders Are A Curse From God.” She leaned on another bearing the image of a fetus read “Shame.”

Phelps’ young son stood by her side carrying a sign reading “America Is Doomed.”

Trump’s campaign manager accused of physically assaulting female reporter for asking tough question

Donald Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski forcibly yanked Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields out of the way after his press conference in Florida on Tuesday night.

Fields was attempting to ask Trump a question as he exited the press conference. Secret Service was starting to clear a path, when Fields was forcibly grabbed on her arm by Lewandowski, moving her out of the way and nearly bringing her down to the ground, a source who witnessed the situation told POLITICO.

Fields was clearly roughed up by the move, the witness said.

Daily Caller senior editor Jaime Weinstein, Fields' boyfriend, also tweeted about the situation:

"consider yourself fired immediately....and go ask Donald Trump for a job at one of his locations"

I have officially been exposed to the Trump hate bandwagon in full force today...

I was leaving a meeting with a client today in ______ and there was a group of people (10-12) outside the building protesting or rallying, a pro-Trump group. As I am walking outside I stop to check my cell phone for emails missed etc, and I overhear the group chanting and making remarks of people as they walk by...extremely racist remarks...my favorite however is of the one they directed at me. ... one lady in particular yells towards me as I am walking away, and tells me to go back to Mexico. That the US doesn’t need people like me dressing up in a suit to go interview with companies in _____ to clean their toilets. That me and my people also try to take the more educated and more deserving white person's job.

It did not take long to get my attention...As I turn around to respond, I notice that I recognize the woman, and she quickly recognizes that she knows me as well. She is my employee...and someone that I have placed to work for my client that I just went to go visit. I walk calmly back to her, asked her to please repeat herself in front of her group as to what exactly she said. Because last time I checked...this mexican as she put it, is the one that she reports to, and was helping her find a job, and if she was more educated and more deserving as she so eloquently stated...she would not be coming to this mexican for any help...because she lacks an education and has been unable to hold a job for the past 5 years, however I gave you the opportunity and took a chance on you. What cracks me up about all of this is that on top of all this, you are working at this office that you claimed treated you so well and you completely loved, but now outside protesting? Do your friends here know where you work?

Due to the fact that the client called me to tell me you have been gone for the past 2 hours, instead of being at your desk, consider yourself fired immediately....and go ask Donald Trump for a job at one of his locations..you wont want to lose that to someone like me in a suit..

Democrats Are Now Favored To Win Back The Senate Thanks To Trump and Cruz

Stuart Rothenberg examined the shift in the battle for control of the Senate:

Up to this point, the burden of proof has been on Democrats to demonstrate that they can oust four or five Republican senators and win control of the chamber. But now, with Republicans in disarray and the party flirting with selecting a weak general election nominee, the benefit of the doubt has shifted away from the GOP and to the Democrats.

….

At least five incumbent GOP senators from Democratic-leaning or competitive states were facing difficult re-election races this year even under the most favorable circumstances – Mark Kirk of Illinois, Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania, Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire and Rob Portman of Ohio. A Republican open seat in Florida also looked at great risk.

Add in the deep division within the Republican Party, and the possibility of Trump or Cruz leading the national GOP ticket, and all – or at least almost all – of those races suddenly look much more uphill. In addition, states like North Carolina, Indiana, Missouri and Arizona look more interesting.
