WASHINGTON — Joe Biden leads Donald Trump among Latino voters by about a 2-1 margin days before the presidential election, according to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Telemundo poll.

The poll finds that 62 percent of Latinos support Biden, while 29 percent support Trump. In 2016, according to exit polls, Hillary Clinton’s margin of victory among Latinos was 66 percent to 28 percent.

'What did we all do?': why women who voted for Trump could decide the 2020 election

Trump has pleaded to suburban women ‘will you please like me’ – but nationally, Biden has the largest lead among women in modern history

Orth, an evangelical Christian from the suburbs of Des Moines, Iowa, voted for Donald Trump in 2016 but will be voting for his Democratic challenger, Joe Biden, in 2020.

“As a lifelong Republican I was willing to give him a chance and was hoping he would be humbled by the position, but that didn’t happen,” Orth told the Guardian.

The 77-year-old could help fuel what is expected to be the largest gender gap in any presidential election in US history. White women in particular appear to be moving away from Trump, while men seem to be sticking by him.

It didn’t take the 63-year-old long to regret her vote for Donald Trump, who she wanted out of office within weeks of him becoming president.

“I remember thinking, ‘Oh my God, what did I do? What did we all do? What would’ve been so bad about Hillary?’” Becky said. “He’s so good with his lies. He made you believe she was hiding her emails, doing all these things she shouldn’t be doing.”

At this point, Becky can’t stand the president and laughed before calling him the antichrist.

“That’s how badly I feel about him,” she said. “If we don’t get him out, we’re in a load of trouble here.”

Dishonesty Has Defined the Trump Presidency
November 1, 2020 at 8:04 am EST By Taegan Goddard

New York Times:
“Born amid made-up crowd size claims and ‘alternative facts,’ the Trump presidency has been a factory of falsehood from the start, churning out distortions, conspiracy theories and brazen lies at an assembly-line pace that has challenged fact-checkers and defied historical analogy.”

“But now, with the election just days away, the consequences of four years of fabulism are coming into focus as President Trump argues that the vote itself is inherently “rigged,” tearing at the credibility of the system. Should the contest go into extra innings through legal challenges after Tuesday, it may leave a public with little faith in the outcome — and in its own democracy.”

“The nightmarish scenario of widespread doubt and denial of the legitimacy of the election would cap a period in American history when truth itself has seemed at stake under a president who has strayed so far from the normal bounds that he creates what allies call his own reality. Even if the election ends with a clear victory or defeat for Mr. Trump, scholars and players alike say the very concept of public trust in an established set of facts necessary for the operation of a democratic society has eroded during his tenure with potentially long-term ramifications.”

Trumpworld Knows What the Rest of Us Know: It's All Over But the Shouting

TWO DAYS AND COUNTING
The old tricks aren’t working. The October Surprise surprised nobody. Junior says nobody’s dying. But like, a lot of people still are.

Madame Tussaud’s in Berlin dumped its wax version of America’s worst president in a dumpster in anticipation of Tuesday’s election. But it’s not just about getting rid of wax sculptures that oddly look more lifelike than the president himself. The world seems like it’s ready to toss Donald Trump and his terrible administration into the dustbin of history. His old tricks seem to no longer be working. The 2016 playbook isn’t even penetrating the mainstream media. Trump seems like he's malfunctioning, spreading lies about doctors during a pandemic. More and more it feels like Trump himself wants to lose.

There is a low whine of panic emanating from Trump, and his terrible surrogates, his children. If you’re quiet you can almost hear it. Friday night, the far-right website The Washington Examiner magically produced ANOTHER Hunter Biden laptop because the first one didn’t work. But Rudy Giuliani and Steve Bannon’s October Surprise surprised no one. In fact, Bannon and Rudy’s October Surprise managed to completely embarrass the almost unembarrassable New York Post and opinion side of The Wall Street Journal. No small feat to make the WSJ opinion page blush.

None of the old tricks are working. The Trump administration, which is really just the taxpayer-funded arm of the Trump campaign, decided to make Friday a “national day of remembrance for Americans killed by illegal aliens.” It was a typical Trumpian xenophobia play, likely cooked up by America’s favorite Jewish Santa Monica Nazi, but the problem was that we’re in the middle of a pandemic, so it immediately prompted the question of why hasn’t Trump made a day of remembrance for the more than 230,000 Americans who’ve died of coronavirus?

Fauci Offers Blunt Assessment of Trump

Fauci Offers Blunt Assessment of Trump
October 31, 2020 at 8:51 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard

“President Trump’s repeated assertions the United States is ’rounding the turn’ on the novel coronavirus have increasingly alarmed the government’s top health experts,” the Washington Post reports.

Said Dr. Anthony Fauci: “We’re in for a whole lot of hurt. It’s not a good situation. All the stars are aligned in the wrong place as you go into the fall and winter season, with people congregating at home indoors. You could not possibly be positioned more poorly.”

Fauci also noted that Joe Biden “is taking it seriously from a public health perspective” while Trump is “looking at it from a different perspective.”
