Roaming History - plug for a YouTube channel

A while back I discovered a fairly small YouTube channel called Roaming History. Currently has a little under 3K subscribers and just a few videos. All of their videos so far have been focused on the civil rights movement.

What makes these videos interesting is that they show you exactly where things happened and provide a lot of extra details. I've been learning a lot from them.

I thought I'd share it, as I figure others here might be interested. I would love to see their subscribers and views really take off. Be sure to give them some likes and comments if you can. History content is having a tough time on YouTube lately. Their latest video from a few days ago is on the sit-in protests:

Man who killed 2 outside Iowa church faced harassment case

Man who killed 2 outside Iowa church faced harassment case

A man who fatally shot two women before killing himself in the parking lot of an Iowa church had been romantically involved with one of the women and faced a court hearing next week on a charge of harassing her, investigators said Friday.

Whitlatch — who had a long history with law enforcement involving women — was arrested May 31 on counts of harassment and impersonating a police officer.

A search of Whitlatch’s truck following the shooting turned up ammunition and a receipt showing he bought the ammunition an hour before the shooting, Fitzgerald said. A search warrant executed at Whitlatch’s home also turned up an AR-15-style rifle, which was not used in the shooting.

I know this wasn't a "mass" shooting, but we really can't do anything about this? If you get arrested for assault, harassment, stalking, etc, you should go on a list that prevents you from buying guns or ammo. And a condition of the release should be that the police confiscate all your registered guns and search for any that aren't, and if they find any, back to jail you go. If you try to buy guns or ammo, back to jail you go. Conviction of these types of crimes or other violent crimes gets you barred from gun ownership for life.
