on his childless comments. Says his comments are moronic. Says he doesn't want to pay more taxes for other people with lots of kids. Says if you can't afford a big family, don't have one. Asks if JD is really a republican.
I know nothing about this guy, but 3.2 million followers is nothing to sneeze at. 
I think we can all agree that JD is not likeable
and the more we hear about him and from him the less likeable he is. In fact, his nomination gave cheato no bump in the polls, and his favorability is underwater and sinking lower.
So I'm sure that any minute now the corporate media will start calling him out for being unlikeable as they did ad nauseum with Hillary with far less reason or evidence. There must be a reason I haven't heard them do so yet, but I'm sure it's coming, right?
I know we've had a lot of fun with JD's couch issues and his disgusting comments
about women, but there is a reason he isn't out there defending himself. He sucks. He makes DeSantis look like a smooth talker and a charmer. His voice is monotone, he seems sedated, and his whole manner is one of entitled, bored rich boy.
So not only is he being defined on our terms, he's not capable of defending himself or changing the narrative. He is afraid to speak to any mainstream journalists, and has spoken to Don,Jr. and Megyn Kelly on their far right podcasts.
There are recordings of him speaking to these extremely friendly hosts, and he sounds worse than some cult member pulled out of the crowd at a cheato rally.
So sad...but I don't see any way out for JD. 
Many are trying to figure out if cheato's gonna dump JD
Of course I have no idea, but I am almost certain that he regrets the choice. He got no bump from the nomination and no bump from his convention. Even he can figure out that it's not going well.
As far as the "chemistry" between the two, I saw a funny scene at the R convention. Cheato and JD were sitting together and JD was trying to joke around with trump, who looked like he was sucking lemons. He tried to take a picture of cheato, who remained staring glumly ahead. Embarrassed, JD started laughing as though he were in on the joke instead of being publicly snubbed. He gamely chuffed cheato on the leg in a gesture meant to show that they were joking around. During the entire time cheato stared angrily ahead.
The 'please like me" vibes were ALMOST enough to make me feel sorry for JD.
Anyone getting excited for the Democratic National Convention?
I am really looking forward to it. It will be the first "live" non Covid convention for us since 2016! It will be a chance to honor President Biden, and I predict not a dry eye in the house. It will be a chance to show America OUR vision of the future and contrast it with the dysfunction and gloom of the other side. It will be a chance to showcase our entire talented party, culminating with Kamala Harris, our groundbreaking nominee!
The only thing I'm worried about is competing with the excellent live musical performance of Kid Rock. You think we'll have any stars of his caliber to feature?
JD seems to be bombing as VP choice
I know many DUers have been spreading his past statements which are horrible, and pointing to the Thiel connection, which is indicative of his true motives.
But don't forget: little Donnie Jr. told daddy to pick him! 
I mean, what could go wrong with a reference from junior?
So it seems that even some cheato's very far right maga cult members are waking up to the folly of this. One of them posted that it was a mistake to listen to Don, Jr. and that Vance had many problematic statements, some of which are going to be hard to defend against.

Eugene Robinson took it to Jansing and she deserved it!
She quoted a Harris for President press release that said something along the lines of We have one question for Trump after he was on Fox News: Is he okay?
She tried to get Eugene to say that Kamala was sinking to cheato's level. 
I have to say that he handled it much better than I would have, and with good humor. He said, basically, I think she has a long ways to go before she sinks to his level. And he added, as you well know.
He was laughing, but he made his point and stopped that BS before it could go any further (at least for today).
Donald Trump thinks disabled people should die
Not that anyone on DU needs reminding, but the guy is a disgusting immoral sadist. Just heard on Nicole's show that his nephew is coming out with a book this fall that quotes him as saying that disabled people should die.
I don't know. I'm kind of past the point of being shocked by anything this freak does or says, but I am glad that this book will come out at this time.
So that's a little awkward...

Sounds plausible. I know I am constantly being asked to write forwards for books I know nothing about and have never heard of.
