Earlier tonight I noticed many or most of the men on stage were wearing cheap brightly colored solid ties. It was strange, but not the strangest thing in this charade by a long shot. Now the Governor is speaking without an ugly tie, maybe he refused, who knows?

CNN just announced that the President wasn't notified until this afternoon. There was one story most of the day. My stink-o-meter is in just registered Reeks to High Heaven, it's highest measure.
Who was he sharing the room with? Was there something in the room that needed to be removed? If they had to clean up God know what, what would take so long?
Even notification of family shouldn't take 10 hours.
