Perhaps Judge Merchan is working out the logistics with the Secret Service... Mark.b2 Apr 18 #1
They've said that there's a jail cell through a door at the back of the courtroom for incarcerated defendants Rhiannon12866 Apr 18 #2

House arrest at Trump tower with his usual SS detail, the only place he can go is court. Runningdawg Apr 18 #3
Makes sense to me a long as he doesn't charge Secret Service exorbitant room and board, like before Rhiannon12866 Apr 18 #5
Does his usual detail live in the penthouse with him full time? Runningdawg Apr 18 #6
That works for me, though I'd prefer regular jail with no hairdresser, makeup artist or McDonald's. Rhiannon12866 Apr 18 #7
Absolutely! But I will be happy if they confine the child to his room. The twit storm will be epic!! Runningdawg Apr 18 #8
Ah! And no TV or internet access! Wherever he is, that will be more than enough - no audience to incite! Rhiannon12866 Apr 19 #9
I have to disagree. Freedom of speech. (or give him enough rope...) Runningdawg Apr 19 #18
He's out of control and his attacks and threats put people in danger - he needs a "time out." Rhiannon12866 Apr 19 #19
Give him 2 hours in a regular jail for the next offense, just to get a feel for it. jmbar2 Apr 18 #4
It's been said that there's a jail cell off the back of the courtroom for incarcerated defendants waiting for trial Rhiannon12866 Apr 19 #11

Waiting for trial. Secret Service would be right nearby.

My mood about the election that I've needed for months. Reading about the jurors has made me, for the first time, realize that Trump will be jailed soon. Really, it could be any day.

We can now most likely look forward to no insufferable rallies, no debates, no FoxNews interviews, no giving a shit about the federal judge in FL, and so on.

A happy day!

Though if TFG is silenced, he won't be able to issue "orders" nor continue to incite the deluded...

Out of sight, out of mind. Even for Fox and MAGAts with their panties in a wad over their jailed leader.

I didn't have a lot of hope over the Bragg case being all that helpful, but now, I think it will change the trajectory for the campaign that I've been increasing worried about. But, Judge Merchan and his newly seated jury have me pumped!

IMO it doesn't matter where we lock him up as long as we do.

Wherever they live now, while working in Trump Tower, they stay. No change in pay. No change in anything they do on a regular basis except he can't leave. Issue them new rain jackets for when he starts slinging shit.

Short enough to not make him a martyr, but long enough to make him not want to go back.

He could be sent to wait there while they interview the rest of the jury alternates to protect them from intimidation and attacks.
