The Miami Herald reports this morning that it has obtained a draft opinion circulating in federal District Judge Aileen Cannon’s chambers. The opinion is dated April 1, when Judge Cannon’s court is scheduled to reconvene. In the opinion, stamped HIGHLY SENSITIVE AND CONFIDENTIAL, Judge Cannon writes: “This Court has bent over backwards to try to accommodate the former president. But this Court will not be played for a fool. I am therefore scheduling the trial of former president Donald Trump on charges of keeping and obstructing the return of classified documents to begin on a date certain of June 3, 2024.”

The fact that this is dated April 1 & she mentions the word fool makes me suspicious. I hope it's true but I've had my hopes dashed too many times.

There's a Rude Pundit column out that I haven't read in entirety, but he states that we aren't just traumatized by Covid, we've been traumatized by nine years of Trump, & I thought, damn, he nailed it.

3. It is now recognized that Judge Cannon

is in no way qualified to be a Judge, much less a particularly knowledgeable Attorney......

Someone, Somewhere in the Shadows is directing her on how to stall this trial to it's death.........

This is true throughout the Republican Party these days.

My Republican father is rolling over in his grave 24/7.........

These current Republicans are masquerading as Republicans, in the Republican Party, but the old Republican Conservative Party has been hijacked by corporations and so called "Republicans" to drive towards a *CORPORATE FASCIST TYRANNY".

We are witnessing their Grand Slam, end of game, for them destroying the US and our beloved constitution which many republicans have stated is "an antiquated scrap of paper". And installing a FASCIST Tyranny, which will exactly resemble Russia, China, NKorea, Belarus, etc etc

People !!!!!! They have been moving in this direction, and playing their long game since Reagan.
