1. I've been saying this for over a year & caught hell for it.

They took too long to charge him & he's used to filing endless appeals or other delay tactics. It'll be going on well after the election. And if he LOSES he'll be appealing as long as possible.
Even after he's convicted he's still not going to be going to jail. He gets secret service protection & the govt isnt going to jail THEM. The best we can hope for, IMO, is housing on a military base & no internet access

2. I was just talking with a friend about this today and we were hoping that SCOTUS would let the previous ruling stand

That really is the only decision that makes sense unless they want to look partisan. But it looks like they don't care and this is one more decision that could undermine the rule of law. What TFG claims, that a president is immune from prosecution no matter what he does, like attempting to overthrow the government, is ridiculous. Third world countries have jailed leaders who attempted the same.

3. I still think they dont have 5 to overturn immunity but even so its wasted TIME

And if he wins in Nov, he's NOT going to be on trial while President.
