Starting a thread on Windows 7 gives a blocking white rectangle; on Android, "too many requests"

Using Microsoft Edge on Windows 7 (long story, and I realise you may not care about supporting Windows 7), I get this as a page when starting a thread:

with the white box extending all the way down to cover Discussion text, Include a poll etc. input boxes, and button(s) at the bottom (I can see the left hand edge of a green one, but not the text for it).

I also tried starting a thread in DU 4 from Android/Chrome (without setting up mobile viewing preferences), and I got a "too many requests" error. I've started this thread from DU3/Edge/Windows 7.

That looks like a syntax error in the code, but EarlG Sep 2023 #1

if that were the case it should be happening for everyone, and it's not. Hmm.

The "too many requests" error suggests some server overload, which is not entirely unexpected.

Elad should take a look at this one, thanks.

like the one above (ie titled "Latest Discussions >> Special Forums >> DU4 Bug Reports >> Start a new discussion&quot , one in front of the other, and a few lines down, with nothing else visible - but no "too many requests" this time.
