And my personal decisionmaking as well. I'm a 44-year-old AA woman and just voted for Biden. Warren was my first choice. I didn't vote in the 2016 primaries (but, of course, voted for Clinton in the general) because I wasn't moved by either candidate. I live in a bubble and, despite my race, have a lot of privilege. When I thought beyond that bubble to the lived experiences of people with less privilege (including most of my family members), I couldn't sit this one out. Biden is now the easy choice.

Plus BS will be flailing away on the stump more than normal, yelling about the "establishment" and the "media". The further this goes the more he looks like another politician we all know.

I sure hope Biden takes some time off from campaigning to read up on his FDR.

We could probably use a few fireside chats during the Second Great Republican Depression.
