Sanders Stands By Warren, Floats Tapping Her For Admin Spot If He Wins

On Wednesday night, 2020 presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) expressed support for progressive rival Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and hinted at considering her for a post in his administration were he to win the race.

MSNBC host Rachel Maddow held an interview with Sanders, during which she brought up the Washington Post’s report on the contacts between his surrogates and that of Warren’s after the Massachusetts senator suffered a devastating Super Tuesday.

Sanders confirmed that he had spoken to Warren and had a “very cordial discussion” with her earlier on Wednesday, but declined to provide details.

“It was a private conversation,” he said. “But I think Senator Warren has worked really hard over the last year.”

5. Ask Biden about his deals with Klobuchar and mayor Pete

Of course you always have to be negative with Bernie.

8. What Nonsense

News reports have said that he has hinted at offering a deal to her. As for me 'always' being negative about him, who are you to judge?

As for Biden, Klobuchar has said ourtight that it wasn't a quid pro quo.

10. Yup... holding Sanders to his own standard is very, very negative.

I can see why you guys scream "Bernie's being oppressed!!!" all the time... as we often quote his own words as well.

15. aah, politics makes strange bedfellows

do you recall Bush-41 calling Reagan Voodoo economist and other epithets?
do you recall JFK disliked LBJ quite a bit, but picked him on ticket for help in election.

16. Yeah, I wouldn't rule it out, but...

I'm just not sure she'd give up her power in the Senate to carry Bernie's water. Likewise, I'm not sure she'd accept the Veep form Biden.

4. Oh wait...

Wasn't it Bernie supporters who claimed it was unpure to offer people jobs for support because they wanted to believe that was the only reason Pete & Amy would endorse Biden?

But now it's okay. Alrighty then.

he called her a liar on national television and he tacitly endorsed the behavior of his supporters toward her by never saying a word about until yesterday.
