Donnyboy and his mafia from the get-go. All the resources, organization, people, media, etc. he used would have been better spent. Or buy Fux News and put them out of business!

Yes, they were an attempt to get elected, but more importantly, they blatantly showed the EVILS of tRump nationwide. It was good for Democrats.

Thinking about his legal position: if he directly placed ads, he might end up in court whereas political speech might be a little protected. Even Steyer worked from the impeachment organization before running instead of simply placing Steyer ads.

I do have heartburn thinking about what $500M could have done in food banks etc. But he does have a unique perspective and I hope he helps as he planned.

9. Why shouldn't he have run for President, same as anyone else in the race?

Take away the billions, and he's still a former successful NYC mayor. DeBlasio ran too, for about two weeks, IIRC. I think the money and self-funding throws off everyone's perceptions of candidates like Steyer and Bloomberg, so that all people see IS the money and not their message or policy plans. In a way, it's a negative factor for them rather than a positive one.
