SC Republicans Plotting to Boost Bernie to Beat Biden, Help Trump

A group of activist Republicans are planning to cross party lines and vote for Sen. Bernie Sanders in next week’s South Carolina primary in a bid to ensure that President Donald Trump faces a Socialist in the November general election.

Last year, the South Carolina Republican party cancelled its primary on the grounds that Trump was the overwhelming GOP favorite in the state and holding a contest to affirm that fact was both unnecessary and a waste of money.

The decision is still being litigated in state court, but that hasn’t stopped members of two upstate Tea Party groups and other GOP activists from urging their idle fellow Republicans to go to the polls and cast their vote … for Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt.

In its Facebook event notice, the “Trump2-29 team” assured readers that despite the cancellation of the GOP primary, “SC Republican voters still have an opportunity to support President Donald Trump and help him win in November!”

Trump 2-29 Campaign encourages all SC Republican voters to vote for Bernie Sanders in the upcoming Democratic primary on Saturday, February 29! SC does not have registration by party, nor do we have closed primaries, so it is perfectly legal for you to participate!”

About The Well News:

Welcome to The Well News!

Founded in our nation’s capital by two politicos, The Well News grew out of a passion for pragmatic policy solutions to every day issues facing individuals across the country. Our founders wanted a news outlet that highlights practical policy-making, good governance, and brings a voice to people and events that are often overlooked in the current news climate.

To combat the proliferation of toxic political rhetoric and inaccurate, misleading “news” that has divided our country, they launched The Well News in the months leading up to the 2018 midterms. It hasn’t taken long to learn that they were not alone in their desire for a different kind of news. To date, The Well News has reached more than 5 million Americans and has grown from a dream discussed over wine into the living, breathing embodiment of commonsense coverage done uncommonly well.

At The Well News, we strive to foster more productive and informed conversations across party lines by providing our readers with compelling, unique reporting and opinions. Our team hails from across our great nation, representing a wide variety of viewpoints and life experiences that they bring to The Well News readers in those states and beyond. Our goal is to provide innovative and thought-provoking content that is informative and accurate.

At a time when so much of media coverage is focused on the views of those on the far right and far left, we strive to cover the business, policy and thought leaders across the country who are actually getting things done. Our goal is to cut through the noise and provide accurate, interesting and exclusive coverage of the issues that impact our lives every day and the people who are taking real steps to make change for the better.

That backfired on the lying SOB! Hopefully this will as well. I think we can all agree that caucuses and open primaries need to go.

"We're asking South Carolina Republicans to show their support for President Trump by crossing over and voting in the Democratic primary for Senator Bernie Sanders."

Well, there it is. A vote for Bernie is a vote for Trump.

More ratf--king in SC primary by GOP crossover voters. Open primaries are problematic.

Found another video -->

This MAGAt already voted for Bernie in SC.

"We have an operation chaos going on, we are encouraging Republicans to go vote for Bernie because we believe Bernie is the best worst candidate in contrasting his socialism against Trump's capitalism."

party registration, and the inability to change parties more often than every two years, etc... I’m not seeing a timeline for it but it just reportedly passed out of committee.
