Joined by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Friday night, Sen. Bernie Sanders held the largest rally of any 2020 Democratic presidential candidate to date in Iowa, drawing more than 2,400 people to Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs.

The campaign and its supporters applauded the evening as the latest evidence of Sanders's momentum.

U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders and U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez drew more than 2,000 people to Drake University on Saturday to hear them rail against the climate crisis and the oil companies they blame for it, and promote their "Green New Deal."

I think its great when any our candidates have large crowds. That means people are interesting, excited and listening, but it seems that every post where Bernie has a crowd people have to poo-poo it and put him down. Is SAD.

Odd how you use the very mechanism (the media) to validate your narrative that you use to criticize that of others... but I get it-- we pretend one media is better than another, without any objective evidence to support that implicit premise.

More often than not there's at least one about Sanders, sometimes two or three. If I were to comment in each, what do you think the odds are that I'd be commenting on a Sanders thread? Sometimes 2 or 3 of 5, and rarely zero.

I, and many here probably comment less on Warren, Biden, and other candidates' threads simply because there are less than Sanders threads.

Finally, as I said Herb, I'm so glad you're keeping track of my posting frequency.

More than 2,300 people stood in a steady rain for a Buttigieg rally in a downtown plaza where Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Ben Harper performed, and the candidate gave a speech and thanked the “Barnstormers for Pete,” a group of die-hard supporters that travels the country to boost the mayor’s candidacy.
