Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forum
Congratulations to our presumptive Democratic nominee, Joe Biden!
At some point Beto will need a campaign manager and staff
But don't think it will be with seasoned pros. Can see him reaching out to old friends that have been active politically, but not likely from the usual suspects.
He should build his team from the bottom up the same way he's campaigning. Listen to what people are saying then incorporate what makes sense. Pollsters and strategists should help evaluate not direct the process.
He built a successful, new economy company by utilizing his talents and interests, his campaign should do the same.

OP
It's already been reported he's zeroing in on hiring a key member of the Obama 2012 staff.

(3,259 posts)2. He should look at Jeff Weaver.
I'm not kidding about this. I dislike Weaver strongly but also don't underestimate him and what he did. Their personalities wouldn't match but Beto will benefit from much of the style of Sanders 2016 campaign.
