His town hall was about healthcare. he did awesome. There was a Trumper who got up and asked him a question and he handled him wonderfully, even drew him in for an embrace

I was all about Bernie last time, and I think I'm feelin' the Bern again! His closing words were about how we have to care for one another, that what societies DO, that's what HUMANS DO!

My little bit starts @ 17:20 or so... I didn't say my name, was too overwhelmed at being told to tell my story to 1000+ people!

My daughter will be voting in her first primary this year and was the one who found the event and got us rsvp'd I thought SHE would be the one asking questions, but healthcare is very close to me, as you can tell. (I even had a few folks come up to me and say thank you and that I spoke well...it was cool)

I also signed up for canvassing & GOTV, met some great people!

The main difference would be seeing one Dr instead of being subjected to the revolving door of drs that work at the clinic...
Also, being able to go to a dermatologist iny area and not hundreds of miles away...
Also not having my medicine be so restricted and expensive that I don't have to have it pre authorized every six months and prove that I need it

I met some awesome folks, and can't wait to hit the campaign office this Thursday

The event was in Carson, so it's Nevada Chapter, but I don't care. They are going to be working on canvassing the Stateline NV area and the office is literally in South Lake on the CA side...In the Community Center that's part of the Dispensary (I actually want to get used to that space myself cuz I was going to offer some classes in the late fall/winter too!)

Looking forward to meeting my small town local peeps that are also part of the Blue Wave

I guess we'll start out doing emails, etc. But I really want to go canvassing I think. I get nervous at the start but then it just flows. I used to be a journalist, so talking to strangers is pretty easy lol
