(612 posts)Which is inspiring and motivating. In spite of various, occasional remarks I have seen on DU about what office or position for which he might be qualified, I remain convinced that he should be our next President, and that he's not in this for 2024. He is enthusiastically running to become the President of the United States in 2020, and I will continue to support him financially and wholeheartedly to the last vote.
If he is our nominee, I'll be elated and will work hard to ensure his election. If he's not our nominee, I will throw all my energy into supporting the Democratic Nominee until he or she is elected. But I'm not writing off Pete. We haven't even had the first debate. This is the primary, and Pete Buttigieg is my candidate. I love a lot of our candidates, but there's just something about Pete that is inherently presidential. Every time I listen to him, I come away more committed to him.
