(14,177 posts)I thought it was going to be a bit closer than that. This is such great news. I don't care what Hillary's supporters say. Something something about insider endorsements I think it will be.

(24,931 posts)I know I got an email from Howard Dean urging people to vote for Hillary in the poll. I hope they don't try to take it away from Bernie.
On edit, it looks like they did announce.

(26,449 posts)It must sting a little after having endorsed Hillary to have an organization you founded vote to endorse a person running against your candidate.

Don't you know that Hillary fans can find the time to sit around carping on a website all day, but never seem to find the time to click on a link and vote in a poll!
Seriously, this is great!
When is DFA supposed to announce, officially, on their website (and what have the Hillarians been saying, really?)
JonLeibowitz
(6,282 posts)They ignore that 77% of existing DFA members (before the vote) chose Sanders, so that wouldn't even have affected the result.

(360 posts)The only polls Clinton wins, are landline phone polls which have been manipulated through the use of specifically chosen demographics to get exactly the results the pollster wanted. If she really was 30 points ahead of Bernie with the voters, it would be shown by her excited supporters flocking to show their support in these online polls. They aren't there. Why because she has 10-20% support but the Corporate Media, and the powers that be are trying to make you think it's more like 60%. Well she is gonna lose and lose big.

(41,600 posts)Actually, I had convinced myself there was no way Howard Dean's DFA was going to endorse Bernie even if he did actually win - but they did! At least that's one honorable organization we know of.
Bernie won WITH HUGE NUMBERS! I think this is how the Nation will go. Big, big numbers for Bernie.

(1,638 posts)And 87.9% is very impressive. I was expecting him to win, but winning by that much sends a pretty powerful message.

(7,318 posts)on the ground by precinct reps of County Democratic Parties.
And to top off the huge, beginning body of support in the Dem Party for Bernie, the phone banking is having great success in reaching new supporters to get them to the caucuses and out to vote in the primaries.
The Clinton supporters in my local county party are being overwhelmed by Bernie supporters who are using up all the base's normal phone banking energy to make calls to get Bernie elected.
The complacency of Hillary and her supporters and the lack of Media attention is what allowed Bernie's support to swell under the radar. I decided a month ago to not say one thing more to the Hillary supporters to dissuade them of Hillary's 'inevitability' as it became clear that thinking was working in his favor.
GO BERNIE!!!
